All the people were gathering around and Connor whispered to Aliah and Will, " Let's get in the middle of the crowd". " Why?", Aliah asked. He looked around probably to see if anyone was listening then answered, "If anything attacks us from above, we will all probably die but if the attack came from the side and we are in the midst of all these people then we'll have enough time to react". Aliah and Will looked at each other in shock for a moment before Will said, "Connor is some of the strongest here it would be our duty to protect. What you are saying is logical but where does our humanity go from here? Connor looked at his brother and friend seemingly contemplating before saying, "I guess you're right but when any life or death situation arises, I am telling you now you two are my only priorities. After having this conversation they were just about to sit when someone came up to them and said, "You three, please follow me". They followed him to the center of the crowd where eight people were sitting.

The eight were the descendants of the four great families and the four 'surprise packages' of the test. There were eight tree stumps but only three were left, the trio understood these were theirs so they sat down and began to size up the others. There was tension in the air as they would not like to be compared to each other and would all hope to be the "number one". Seeing this someone in the crowd stood up and said, "I'm Tom Grant, son of James Grant, now it seems we are all confused so let me explain.

We have all been led here by something and we've gathered here to share our experiences and find out something useful about what is going on, how to deal with it, and anything else that could be considered strange, so who wants to go first?"

Everyone looked at Tom Grant, surprised that anyone other than the eleven would step up and take charge. They were wondering what gave them the confidence to speak in front of so many people when someone broke the silence.

"I started this journey with three of my friends and now I'm the only one left". He took a pause then continued, "I was moving alone when I realized two things; firstly I saw more beasts out of their natural habitats and secondly, I felt like I was being watched by a pair of yellow eyes amid the forest trees but that feeling stopped when I got here." "That's it".

After this more and more people started to speak about what they had gone through to arrive there. There were stories but only two things were in all of them, displaced beasts and the feeling of being watched by yellow eyes in the dark depths of the forest. When they were done talking, one of the guys stood and said," I think there is a beast of immense strength lurking around. It was probably sent to test our teamwork, so here's what we are going to do. We send the fastest of us to find and lure it here then we'll- BOOM. A loud noise interrupted him but that wasn't all, a large beam of flame came towards them at lightning speed killing and injuring tens of the people gathered there. Those who survived immediately run to the opposite side of the forest and waited for some time.

Soon after a lion with a large lion with a flaming mane slowly walks out from the direction the attack came from. It roared and then started running towards the hiding places of the test takers, some of them fainted or ran away in fear and some went forward to attack it while the wiser of the bunch continued to stay hidden. Those who felt brave enough started well, some made the earth shake causing it to lose balance which enabled the ranged attackers to land some hits as the melee fighters. After defending for a while, the lion noticed its opponents' tiredness and began its counterattack, the number of people around it dwindled from a few dozen to zero in about two minutes. Those who were still hidden held their breaths after seeing the ferocity of the lion. The lion looked towards them but also did nothing. There was a stalemate and no one knew when it would end.

AAAHHH! Someone jumped out from his hiding place holding a battle axe, shouting and running towards the flaming lion. Some noticed he was a descendant of one of the great families. "Come back here you crude Amari !.", shouted another descendant but he was ignored as Amaris never resist the chance for a battle. The man and beast ran and crashed into each other. The Amari was swinging his battle axe around and was creating multiple cuts on the lion's body but it was also injuring him with its claws and the fire from its mane. Those in hiding realized that this was probably the best time to deal with it and began to attack it like there was no tomorrow.

There the sound girl was increasing the sounds of the battle to disorient the beast, Connor was fighting fire with fire, and Will was slowing it down by increasing the gravity around it. At this point, everyone was working together and everything seemed good until the beast decided to go all out. It had realized that its life was in danger and decided that it would kill as many humans as it could and thus forcibly increasing the speed of its blood flow to enhance its strength.

When it did this it released a wave of energy that pushed everyone and things away from it. It started to increase in size and the flames around it burned with more intensity. It let out a roar to release its frustration. It looked at its assailants and opened its mouth then let out a huge energy beam at point-blank range surprising everyone as they all thought such a skill needed time to charge up.

They all froze in despair because there was no way to avoid the impact. The beam suddenly stopped in midair, confusing the people and beast alike. "Well we have seen enough", a voice from the sky was heard, "you can all be considered Permora students now". The elder known as Krone floated o the ground he pointed to the beam and it moves back at the tiger then explodes in its face, killing it.

Krone turned around and said," You've gone through a lot but this will probably help you in the future anyway let me formally introduce myself, I am Elder Krone, the third elder of Permora and your new teacher.
