Becoming Raser

The silver veil around Alex's figure dissipated, leaving him kneeling on the ground on all fours, tears of blood continuing to trail from his eyes like falling water droplets.

The once red ritual ground now turned into a burned imprint. Fog generated from above, like a fire that had died down. The white mist was a testament to the completed invocation ritual that had just transpired, birthing a new invocar named Alex.

He stood up from the ground, his eyes opening up glowing like a golden jade crystal with a carved white triangle around the black dot that was his Iris.

Shilla commented, "Eww, are those eyes or nuts?"

"Seriously, from what angle do they look like nutballs would be a better comparison," Alex replied, walking out from the ritual ground.

Shilla also turned around, both marching toward the basement door.

Now that Alex had Raser's memories, Shilla's presence was more familiar to him, and he understood her more.

Shilla Tristar, a 21-year-old girl, is Raser's elder sister, exhibiting a loving, caring, and gentle personality towards her sibling but transforming into a ferocious Guardian against anyone who dares to harm her sweet younger brother.

There was a time in middle school when someone tried to bully Raser, but failed as Raser wasn't a loser; he fought back, beating the bullies to a pulp and in the process rescuing his friend Benzo. Raser's story with the bully was finished, but not his sister's. When Shilla got wind that someone had dared to ruin her brother's time, she directly went to the bully's house, breaking the door and marking it as her territory.

She proceeded to break and ruin furniture, turning the once beautiful house into a hellhole. She even hung the bully on a balcony, traumatizing the poor boy.

All of that was possible because the bully's parents were not at home. Regardless, the story concluded when Thomson had to pay for the compensation money.

It may seem that Shilla has an anger problem and is an athletic girl, but make no mistake, this sister of his is also proficient in study and computer skills.

Currently, she is a 21-year-old game developer in her final year of Computer Science at Cybor University.

Her passion for gaming and coding began at an early age when she used to play online multiplayer games with her brothers. She became addicted to the games, but over time, she grew bored with the repetitive patterns. This led her to decide to create her own game, something she could truly enjoy. So, she started to pursue her bachelor's degree with a focus on game development.

Shilla has excelled in courses related to software engineering, graphics programming, and artificial intelligence. Despite her talents, she faces a hurdle in realizing her dream of creating a virtual world – the lack of money and recognition of her talent.

Alex snapped back to the present when Shilla asked, "What is your enlightenment?"

"Seer," he replied and asked, "What about you?"

But instead of answering him, Shilla continued to walk toward the door, ignoring him, and asked, "Didn't you say you wanted to be like father? Why did you wish for something like that?"

"You don't have to take the responsibility on your shoulders. You shouldn't have inherited the mark of the Trinity. Didn't I tell you to choose whatever you wanted?"

"How can I let both of you take all the burden?" Alex explained. That's right the triangle in his eyes is known as the mark of the trinity, symbolising one of Triumvera's traits.

There are three people in existence with this trait, each person symbolizing one aspect like spirituality, wisdom, and strength.

Shilla wanted to be one of the Trinity to help Thomson seek revenge on the Tristar family for killing Raser's mother and ruining their happy family. At that time, Raser was just an infant, so his elder brother and sister decided to isolate Raser from the Tristar family.

Despite their wishes to keep Raser away from conflict, destiny had marked its fang on Alex to be one of the trinity.

"Don't be cheeky. You still will not get to accompany Tom."

_Who wants to do that? I am not going to be part of something that isn't even related to me._

Alex's mentality was clear; he had no wish to be part of any conflict among the RTS siblings – Raser, Thomson, and Shilla

Especially after learning the reason for his transmigration is one of the rituals they performed.

As Shilla and Raser reached the basement door, Thomson's frustrated voice echoed, "Who gave you permission to enter the house?"

"What the hell are you doing here?" Shilla burst out, questioning him.

"I don't need permission, little lad," Dev answered.

Upon seeing them, recollections related to their enmity surged in Alex's mind. Now he also understood the reason for their impulsive behavior.

There were two reasons for that. The first is traced back to ancient times, involving the Nath family and Tristar family ancestors. Both families had a longstanding conflict rooted in opposing ideals.

The Nath family was known for being overlords – arrogant, greedy, and powerful. They exhibited an arrogance akin to lords and masters.

On the other hand, the Tristar family was known for its gentle, scholarly nature.

The conflict of interest began with the arrogance of the Nath family and the Tristar family's more peaceful demeanour.

This led to a clash, resulting in the Nath family killing the lord of the Tristar family Triumvera.

The enmity persisted through generations, ultimately turning into an innate disgust for their descendants.

This was one reason – an innate repulsive trait.

However, this wasn't the sole reason for Thomson and Dev's enmity. The more potent reason was personal.

"Dev is the killer of Thomson's father."

So, due to these reasons, there was a palpable tension in the air.
