Chapter 17 A Few Scoundrels

Lu Mengyao sensed the man's movements and quickly opened his hand that was reaching toward her, "What are you trying to do!"

The man was bald, and when his hand was slapped away, he realized that Lu Mengyao hardly had any strength, so he grew bolder, "What am I doing? I'm just trying to help you up, beauty. Look at you, you must have had quite a bit to drink, huh? Can't even stand steady. It's very dangerous for a woman to be out alone at night like this. How about I take you home?"

Lu Mengyao clearly saw the glint of greed in the man's eyes; this guy was probably up to no good, "Get lost, stay away from me, or I'll shoot you dead!"

The bald man was not scared off but instead laughed. Pointing at Lu Mengyao's face, he said to his companions, "Look at this lady, she's really something! Puts on a police uniform and thinks she's an officer. This chick is not bad at all, look at that figure, definitely top-notch. Dressed like a hotshot and out drinking late at night, hey, brothers, shall we have a 'hard-working' night?"

The other two men were even more eager than the first, exchanging glances. They rushed over, grabbed Lu Mengyao by the arms, lifted her up, and dragged her towards an alley not far away.

The woman was dumbfounded and said to the bald man unrelentingly, "Brother Wang, what's wrong with you? Didn't we agree to have a good time tonight? Why did you drag in some cheap floozy from who-knows-where? I'm telling you, Brother Wang, if you're like this, I won't hang with you guys anymore. Tonight, it's her or me."

The bald man gently patted the woman's face, grabbed her chin, and pulled her face up, "Do you really think you're some kind of heavenly beauty? If you want to have fun, come with me. If not, beat it and find your boyfriend!"

Leaving the woman behind, the bald man also dived into the alley and entered the public restroom there.

The woman muttered to herself for a while but eventually followed them in.

The two men who had grabbed Lu Mengyao received a loud shout from her, "Let go of me, let me go! If you dare touch a single hair on my head, I'll make sure you have no grave to call your own..."

Unfortunately, no matter how loudly Lu Mengyao yelled, it was useless; the two over-eager men forcibly dragged her into the public restroom.

Lu Mengyao was not unfamiliar with this place; she had just been there with Liu Mang. It was bad enough she got bitten by her least favorite creature, a snake.

Now she was back, and Lu Mengyao was so desperate she wished she were dead.

The bald man, along with the other woman, also entered the public restroom, locked the door behind them, and stared at Lu Mengyao's pretty face. Then, he looked over her fine figure, "I really hit the jackpot today; such a top-notch beauty has come my way."

Lu Mengyao shouted, "Let me go, you bunch of drunks, or I will kill you!"

"Kill us?" The bald man cracked his neck, stepped up to Lu Mengyao, grabbed her chin, and sneered, "Go ahead, try to kill me, my dear hand!"

Lu Mengyao bit into the bald man's hand, biting down as hard as she could.

But she really had no strength, and soon the bald man withdrew his hand.

Looking at the bite marks on his hand, the bald man's expression darkened, but then he sneered again. He brought his hand close to his nose and sniffed, "Mmm, smells good; even the saliva of a beauty is fragrant."

Lu Mengyao shouted angrily, "You bastard, go to hell!"

"Then we'll see if you're skilled enough for that," the bald man retorted as he took out a small bottle and poured out three or four pink pills. He pinched Lu Mengyao's mouth open and forced the pills into her mouth.

Lu Mengyao desperately wanted to spit out the pills, but her mouth was held shut, and she couldn't. She swallowed the pills whole, and only then did the bald man let go.

Lu Mengyao glared at the bald man, "What did you give me?"

Without the bald man having to say a word, the woman by his side said, "It's the good stuff, I tell you, something that will definitely make you extremely happy. I guarantee that tonight you won't be able to stop enjoying yourself."

As she spoke, the woman looked at Lu Mengyao with an envious stare, wishing she were the one who had taken the drug.

Once the drug entered her system, a faint fire started to rise. Lu Mengyao didn't need to guess to know what was now inside her stomach, "You bunch of bastards, I won't let you off, I will never let you off! Somebody, help me, somebody please help..."

Lu Mengyao shouted, and though she always prided herself on being strong, she had never cried for help before.

But now the situation left her no choice for pride; she shouted loudly, hoping someone would hear.

A man holding Lu Mengyao was a bit worried, afraid of attracting attention, "We might as well just seal her mouth."

"What the hell are you talking about, if we really seal her mouth, then what's the fun in that?" The bald man cursed as he drooled, staring straight at Lu Mengyao, his saliva almost dripping from the corner of his mouth, anxious to reach out his hand.

"Don't!" Lu Mengyao closed her eyes in despair, she didn't want to be defiled by such a disgusting guy.

Just as the bald man was about to succeed, with a bang, the public restroom door suddenly opened, and a person whistling walked in.

Shit, someone's here, the bald man was startled, his hand instinctively retracting.

When he turned to look, the bald man saw that the newcomer was a young man, and alone at that, his heart immediately settled down, "Who are you?"

"What's it to you who I am, this is a public restroom, can't I come here?"

Hearing the voice, Lu Mengyao suddenly opened her eyes to look, it was Liu Mang! "It's you!"

Liu Mang said with a chuckle, "Ah, if it isn't the beautiful lady herself. Weren't you supposed to go home? Why are you running back here in the middle of the night? No wonder you didn't want me to give you a ride, turns out you had other plans."

Liu Mang teased, making Lu Mengyao feel rather embarrassed.

If she had just listened to Liu Mang, letting him take her home, she wouldn't have ended up in the hands of these men, "I, I..."

The bald man, hearing Liu Mang's words, realized he clearly knew Lu Mengyao, but it was fine since only one person had come, "We have urgent business with her, whoever you are, just buzz off."

Liu Mang replied, "What kind of urgent business, I happen to be free, do you need me to join in?"

"Go home, otherwise, I'll slap you to death!" The bald man said, lifting his thick arm, trying to intimidate Liu Mang.

The woman looked at Liu Mang with greedy eyes, and said to the bald man in a coy voice, "Why don't we just keep him here? It's just one more person, no big deal."

The bald man slapped the woman across her face, cursing, "This isn't your business, go stand over there, keep blabbering, and I'll smash your damn mouth!"

The woman, covering her face, sulkily walked over to the side and dared not speak again.

Liu Mang kept looking into Lu Mengyao's eyes, teasing her with his gaze.

Her eyes, Lu Mengyao could understand, as if they were telepathically linked, she grasped everything.

This man was playing with her, telling her with his eyes, beg me, if you want to be saved, come and beg me.

Drop your so-called pride, drop your reserve, drop everything, and shout out loud, Liu Mang save me, please save me.

With Liu Mang's skills, Lu Mengyao knew that it would be easy for him to deal with a few drunks.

Lu Mengyao wanted to yell out, but Liu Mang's eyes made her clamp her mouth shut.

She was willing to beg anyone, just not the smelly hooligan in front of her who was teasing her with his look!

Seeing that Lu Mengyao was still not speaking, Liu Mang tightened his backpack and waved at her, "I've got things to do, so I won't hold you up anymore, goodbye."

Liu Mang pretended to leave, which panicked Lu Mengyao, she blurted out, "Don't go!"

Liu Mang said playfully, "If I don't go, what do you want me to do?"
