I have started the investigation. The Presence seems to be rather weak, as I have heard nothing until now.

I've come to the location of the first occurrence. All seems regular. No personnel has been tending to the flowers. It is a shame. The chrysanthemums are beautiful.
12 p.m.
Josya's Residence Guest Room
Until this moment, nothing has been found. I'm starting to worry. Haven't the occurrences been regular at this place ?
I've been looking at the Garden recently, waiting for a chance of seeing it in action. No personnel tended to it today. I suppose it was expected for it to happen.

I have decided to give up on the present investigation. I've decided to take a chrysanthemum with me as a souvenir.
Could the little flowers be the cause of all the mysterious occurrences? I do feel an attraction to them. Is it my own, or the workings of a ghost?

I've got a new job starting tomorrow. Hopefully it won't be like the last one. The chrysanthemum shows no signs of ghostly activity. I feel no supernatural attraction to it. I've put it on a small vase near the window.
6 a.m.
Dostoy Cemetery
The place is eery and cold. The tombs' reflection in the moonlight remind me of the most expensive granite. It is beautiful.
3 p.m.
Hildenburg Hostel
No occurrences at the cemetery. The hostel isn't receiving any complains either. I'm starting to lose hope.
12 a.m.

I've decided to wander the place in hopes of finding some occurrence. There doesn't seem to be a reason for all the rumours.

I have seen a small light near one of the outer edges. I thought it could be a spectral fire, but there seems to be no activity in the place.
I have collected a little bit of the place's dirt.

Hildenburg Hostel
I've subjected the dirt to holy water and put a cross on it. I've also read buddhist mantras. No occurrence could be detected.
The contractor has decided to hire another investigator. I must perform.

I've decided to make an extreme attempt at unearthing the ghost.

The attempt failed. I shall resume my work.

I've decided to put the chrysanthemum in the cemetery dirt. Who knows. I might even produce a ghost myself. At least then I would have something to show.

The monks have hired me due to the Three Fingers case. I'm happy that's still a thing. I need something to stay relevant, so I hope to be able to perform today.

Veravanda Temple's Main Square
No sign of activity. No ringing bells. The monks have been performing their morning rituals and prayers with no interruptions whatsoever.

The head monk thanked me for 'vanquishing the evil spirit', but I did nothing. I couldn't accept the reward, since I have no chained ghost to prove my deed.
The monk insisted, so I decided to take home one of the bells which had been supposedly touched by the ghost.

I have put the bell right next to the flower vase with the chrysanthemum on it. I've been ringing the bell from time to time.

I've got a job, and this one is sure to have a ghost. It has been chained to a basement chamber already. The previous investigator died at the scene.
It is risky, but it is worthy the try.
I've decided to get rid of my souvenirs as a matter of precaution. If I die, then those could endanger others.

The previous investigator managed to lure the ghost from the cemetery, but failed at properly chaining it.
It has been wreaking havoc at the hostel's basement.

I've successfully chained the ghost. The Three Fingers case is now behind me.

Getting rid of my souvenirs was a waste in the end. However, I've managed to chain a real ghost this time, so I'm not that sad.

I've decided to check on the previous locations. I might have put myself on a difficult situation.
The garden still has beautiful chrysanthemums. There doesn't seem to be nothing wrong.
The employees said another investigator managed to chain the ghost after I was gone.
It leaves a bitter aftertaste.

No sightings of new ghosts.

I've booked a room for the night. The employees said there have been no new occurrences ever since.

The head monk said I must have been cursed after throwing the bell in the river. It makes sense, since the bell was a sacred item.
I have received its blessings and gave donations in order to receive Buddha's forgiveness for my disrespectful act.

I've decided to alert the Residences about the possibility of a curse on the chrysanthemums. The have decided to destroy the garden.
A faint scream could be heard once the poor flowers burned.
I'm relieved. With this much, there's only the cemetery to deal with.

It's needed. The dirt around that corner can be dangerous. I've brought some gasoline with me.
