A Little Mistake

'Dear Satan.

This year I have been excellent, I have helped my parents clean the house, watched my sister when needed and even took the dog for walks every day.

You can agree then that I am good enough to have a few presets from you this Christmas right?

I will even make sure to leave out extra cookies and milk Christmas eve.

What I want for Christmas is.

A Bike

Trainers

Xbox One or PlayStation 4

Smartphone

Tablet

Rollerblades

Any of these will do.

Your biggest fan.

Love you, Michael Jones.'

Reading the letter was a man sitting on a throne inside a large room, the throne's made from people covered in metal.

The room had dark red walls with people hanging on them screaming, the floor was part larva, with a path of red bricks in the middle, the ceiling was 40 feet high, covered in bones as chandeliers.

The man had a red disfigured face, two horns at the top of his head, his legs were that of a goat and shirtless, on his back, there are two massive wounds where wings used to be before the man cut them off.

The man put the letter down and started laughing then called for someone to get in the room.

"This letter came to me by accident, as it's for Santa, not Satan. Such a little thing caused such a different outcome, and I'll take Santa's place just this once and send one of these gifts he asked for, of course, I'm going to 'make a little mistake' too."

With that in mind, Satan held up an old IOU letter he received a long time ago.

"This man owes me from a long time ago, he's unable to pay me back, and that pisses me off too, this way it's a two for one deal."

Satan wrote a short letter and gave it to the minion that came in, instructing the minion to send it to a particular man.

At the child's house, he ran downstairs Christmas morning, he had a big smile on his face and was very excited.

When he got to the Christmas Tree, there were no presents from Santa though, and he almost started crying when the doorbell rang. Usually, since he's a child, he would not bother getting the door and let his parents get it, but he wasn't thinking right now.

When he opened the door, he saw an old man with a long white beard and funny looking clothes.

"Hello, you must be Michael. I was sent here to you."

Michael, still depressed just mumbled. "Why?"

"I'm your preset that will follow you for the rest of your life apparently, let me introduce myself. I am a Daoist God, and most people call me Rainster."

Only now did the boy look up, it was all dark clouds and raining heavily.

"I am a God that calls the rain, where ever I go, rain will follow. I was sent here because I owed a favour to the man you sent the letter to, and to repay him, he gave me the order of following you until you return heaven. I'm sorry, this is the only way to pay that man back."

"Because you're a child and might not understand what this means, then it'll tell you. It means that you'll only ever know rain, never seeing the sun and must keep moving for the rest of your life, or else you will drown."
