Chapter 5: The apocalyptic world

In the year 2007 at the city of Matum, an organization called "Coat" had failed an experiment and in that moment the laboratory exploded like a nuke and the city waa destroyed and a mysterious fog covered the world. Reporters immediately goes to the city of Matum and what they saw is humans eating their fellow humans as if they become savages, all of the reporters was wiped out and became a living dead. Soon to be called the first generation of crawlers. They evolve and evolve.

That's what the man said to him. The ruler said that he just got there and can't remember his own name. A blury pictures appeared in the his head and a name pop out just like that. The ruler's true name is Greynus Crandisus. That's what Greynus told that he just remember this name. The pretty girl is called Mavis, the nerd one is Drew and the man who thinks he saved Greynus is Andeng. The man also told Greynus(Grey for short) that there are also humans that can use different abilities; they are called Superhumans that trains their blood that overcomes the virus and merged with them.

Grey told them how to unlock the superhuman abilities but they also dont know. The hideout that they're staying underground is like a house which have 5 rooms and rations like it can keep you alive for months. The weapon room only have guns(m4a1, colt 45, black desert etc.) and some melee weapons. Grey always feel that someone or something is watching him as soon as he gets to the apocalyptic world. The big one who attacked Grey is called The big crusher. He got that information in a magazin which contains many types of crawlers which contains their names and weakneses, there is also a question mark at the last page which is called the void.

Grey is staying at the smallest room of the hideout. The room is small that can fit 2 persons and as small as 8 couch altogether. Someone is knocking at Grey's door, he uses his sensing power which he learned at the Golry City. He saw Mavis at the door holding some gadget that looks like a blue metal and have an ancient writing. Grey opened the door and let Mavis enter the room. Mavis cries as soon as Grey shut the door. They held a conversation.

Mavis: Don't trust them. They are all crawlers here. They kept me a prisoner here for 3 days, they are telling me to decipher this piece of stone as if its important. I am a scientist in the coat but luckily I was in the neighboring city when the explosion happened. I knew the experiment will failed and something disastrous will happen but they didn't believe me. *sobs

Grey: Okay, why are you telling me this. Andeng saved me back there, so how should I believe you?

Mavis: There is a new type of crawler which is called the Disguiser which copy a human's body after they eat them and can learn to speak and have the ability to think. You will ser if it's a crawler if the bled a blue blood and that's the blood if a 3rd evolve crawlers. I will let you believe me if you see my blood red because every human have a red blood. Let me also see your blood. Wait, Let's seal this room first they are sensitive of human blood.

After they sealed the room, Mavis prinks her finger using a needle. She bled a red blood. Grey also did that but the needle was desroyed because of Grey's cultivation. He gets a new needle in the room and add a qi in it and he succeeds to prinks his finger and also bled a red blood. As soon as she saw him bled a red blood. She told Grey that she can open the ancient gadget that she is holding. Mavis told him how to be a superhuman but she didn't know what's the final step to it, that's why she stayed a normal human who uses a medication to keep herself not to be infected by the virus. Grey didn't try how to be a superhuman as its risky and have a 70% probabilty to be turned into a crawler without the last step.

Mavis just fell asleep through the night as they are having a conversation. Grey just put Mavis in the bed and he slept at the floor. The morning comes and Andeng knock at the door of Grey. Andemg just told them that it's time to eat, Grey wake mavis up and have a fast plan to subdue Andeng. They almost open the door but Grey sense many high leveled crawlers at the hideout. He also saw the room where Drew is staying have a dead body laying on the floor. Grey can sense temperature. Grey just told Mavis that ever since he was born he have a power to teleport in another place within a hundred miles. He told Mavis to hold his hand and told her to trust him as he will place her to the safest place within the place. Grey can't sense any human beings but he saw a place where there are no crawlers. He gave a bead to Mavis and gold her not to lose it because it will protect her and wait for him in there. Grey teleported Mavis at a Toy factory and sits there while crying. Crawlers can't find her as the bead has a power that will not let her to be in danger and can be sensed. Andeng noticed something because they took a lot of time just to wake up. Andeng and the crawlers attack Grey.

Mavis stopped crying and started to know where she was because she saw machines and toys. The bead emits a white light as it is commanded to help her. It is really dark at the factory as the electricity was cut off in the world. They just uses generators and fuels. While Mavis is walking the bead emits a red light as it has a meaning of danger or emergency. She runs to a machine near her and hides there.
