It seems that instead of having one car pulling the others, all three vehicles are capable of moving on their own when necessary. The construct is somewhat similar to the self-operating Reprinter Unit assembled by Stein.
Again, although similar, the functionality between the two significantly differs. On the scale of this MCC itself, the Reprinter Unit is no different from an infant's toy.
