Chapter 25: [Lionel]

After getting the news from the black market from the Barmaid of Romari he started to search for Champ one of the future members of the Empire's secret police squad, Wild Hunt as well as the "serial killer entertainer".

Tatsumi ever since being born in the Akame ga Kill world he has been reminded of the characters of his world as he has been studying from what he remembers as well as the histories of others as well.

Champ is by very definition what true bastard scums are.

Champ was depicted as a very disturbing pedophile who had an obsession with killing and abusing children, as upon his introduction, he stated that he didn't feel motivated to kill the death row prisoners because there were no kids around. The mere sight of children would get him excited.

Champ had no issues admitting his disturbing obsession of raping and butchering children as, in his eyes, he did a good deed, justifying his actions by claiming he made "angels referring to children remain angels forever" as he saw adults as being nothing more than filthy animals.

Growing up in a wealthy household, Champ was abused by his parents.

He saw children as an outlet for healing from that abuse and played the role of a clown to play with them. Eventually, he lost all faith in "filthy" adults and started killing children to prevent them from growing up.

Over time, he developed a sexual association with the act and soon became a demented serial killer.

Sometime before the start of the series, Champ massacred the entire class of children in a farming village near Joyou. To keep the peaceful appearance, the case was swept under the rug. This caused the children's teacher, Run, to chase after Champ for revenge and justice.

Knowing letting such scum live around in the Eastern Region no way Tatsumi was going to let him live alive until his very justly fury is satisfied.

But searching for that person alone is somewhat hard even for Tatsumi to find a single person in a large patch of land. Even he has limits of what he can do as he searches for the fat clown.

The Teigu was created on the instruction of the First Emperor, who feared that the Empire he had founded would eventually fall. To prevent this, he gathered many materials and hired many scientists throughout the world to make strong weapons and defenses.

The creation of the Teigu is the result of their efforts.

There were 48 Teigu in all, but almost half of them were lost during a civil war about five centuries before the start of the story. Several Teigu has been seen to be destroyed; it is not known how many of the original 48 remain.

Many Teigu were created from the remains of Danger Beasts that had unique powers, imbuing the equipment with special abilities. Many weapons and armor type Teigu were forged from a rare metal called Orichalcum.

Teigu is not limited to one ability; some are known to have secret powers that are yet to be discovered, and some have powers that are lost to history.

While the Teigu gives its users amazing powers, they are not almighty. It is stated that no Teigu can resurrect the dead.

Even if a user is strong enough to use a Teigu, it can still reject them, and a user's first impression of it affects their compatibility.

The user must be compatible with the Teigu to wield it.

Several Teigu were shown to have a hidden ability or secret move often referred to as "Trump Card" or "Ace in the Hole". It is said that not all Teigu have those, however, certain users can develop such abilities themselves. Usually, such moves are the most powerful, last-resort ones.

If two Teigu users engage in a battle, both with killing intent, one of them is certain to die. If multiple users are involved, there is a high probability of only one of them surviving.

An ironclad rule among its users is that every person can wield only one Teigu since a single Teigu requires a considerable amount of mental and physical strength to be controlled.

If one were to use two Teigu at the same time, they would be destroyed by it.

However, it is not outside the realm of possibilities to utilize two Teigu at once, should the user be compatible with both Teigu and have the physical strength to withstand the burden.

Meanwhile, as he was inside a forest, he decided to test out the Teigu [Lionel] on himself as he talks to himself, "Ok then an almighty weapon that can turn people into furies. I need your discount version of a Zoan devil fruit ability so please bear with me."

Just as he tried it of course it was rejected as he then began to transform as is the effect of the Teigu [Lionel].

The King Of Beasts Transformation: Lionel is a belt-shaped Teigu that transformed its wearer into a beast, instantly increasing one's physical strength and abilities. It also amplified one's sense of smell to enable scouting.

It's also one of the few Teigu's that has a Trump Card.

[Regenerator]: The trump card of Lionel, which granted its user high-speed regeneration. Its extents are unknown, but Leone was able to heal her removed eye, sliced breast, and injuries over time.

Once he started to transform, his hair becomes longer and he gains lion ears, tail, and claws.

Observing the new makeover of the new form he looked honestly surprised as he was able to tell more from his senses as he talked to himself, "So this is what Leone feels like when she uses her Teigu huh? I mean it's – Argh!"

That was when a sharp sudden pain rushed inside his body as he began to flail around as the Teigu didn't appreciate being called such stupid things while Tatsumi was still in his transformation.

*Rumble*

Hearing rumbling sounds Tatsumi sees that more of the resident Class 2 Danger Beast is trying to ambush him with their natural looks of trees.

These Danger Beast are Class 2 Tree Beasts.

Tree Beasts are shown to look very similar to regular trees, but they have some differences. Tree Beasts have one single eye and a mouth just below it. Tree Beasts also don`t have leaves on their branches, unlike most trees.

Tree Beasts are taller than humans and can extend their "arms" or "branches" to attack their prey, but they are especially known for their ability to disguise themselves as normal trees to surprise their prey.

*BOOM*

*SLAM*

As they were getting about to get close to ambush Tatsumi in his transformed state the very man in question was slamming both of his fists to the ground causing a large crater of the two sizes of the fists produced thanks to the increase strength.

But that wasn't the reason why they stopped the ambush no as they were suddenly hit by a large concentration of pressure originating from the transformed boy as his eyes dilated like an animal enraged.

The pressure made them run away from Tatsumi as if they saw a larger prey in front of them when they felt the pressure and lion dilated eyes.

His teeth gritted with each grunt spoken out as the Teigu felt a large amount of willpower pressure coming from Tatsumi [Conqueror Haki] forcing the very weapon to submit to his will and everything surrounding

The [Conqueror Haki] is a rare form of Haki that allows the user to exert their willpower over others. This type of Haki cannot be attained through training and only one in several million people are born with this ability.

The basic level for using this type of Haki is that there are only three uses: Domination, Incapitation, and Pressure.

What Tatsumi was doing was trying to the basic level of Domination on the Teigu [Lionel] as did Esdeath taming her Teigu with her very own willpower to force it to submit. And since the Teigu tried to reject the spirit of Tatsumi his willpower responded accordingly to dominate the Teigu [Lionel] using [Conqueror Haki] to force it to submit.

The Teigu in question was then forced to submit to the unknown force residing inside its new user as it couldn't refuse anymore as Tatsumi began to take control as he spoke not happy with the Teigu refusing him, "Ok listen here you overrated belt accessory! I for one don't take kindly for you pulling that shit! Do that shit again and I'll consider destroying you entirely in one go!! Plot fucks be damned to hell!!"

Hearing Tatsumi's words the Teigu was quite fearful of that tone as he was serious in destroying it as it could only be submitted as Tatsumi soon felt total control of his new form as he took a quick smell of the area.

Amazement was apparent in his eyes as he views the Teigu in a new light as an animalistic smile expressed on his face as he talked to himself in delight, "So this is the power of using the power of [Lionel] huh? Very impressive to have got to admit. Plus, with the high-speed regeneration along with the strength bonus. Although I could do without the new animal urges."

Then suddenly an idea popped up in his mind as the Teigu didn't like the idea of its new user with Tatsumi grin showed, "Say [Lionel]… would you like to help me train my [Conqueror Haki]? I mean it will mean a LOT to help me if you continue to reject me, right? It will be good practice right partner~"

The Teigu very much didn't like the idea at all the user Tatsumi was thinking of using it to train that unknown force but couldn't exactly refuse or else destruction of its vessel would be at stake.

During his free time decided to try putting on the Teigu he has [Lionel] instead of searching for the clown Tatsumi accidentally stumbled upon a method of training his [Conqueror Haki] using The King Of Beasts Transformation: Lionel when he tried to use it for himself.

Although it was more like grinding and bullying the Teigu but was an effective training method for Tatsumi [Conqueror Haki] so it was a win for him and getting [Lionel] as the first Teigu to agree without (with a lot of fighting) fighting back much.
