Before long, all the forms were filled up and handed back to Michael. He passed it to the woman.
"Hmm, this is good, Michael Monroe... Come back tomorrow morning by 8am and you will all take a combat test to determine your rank." The middle aged woman said.
"Ah, thank you. If I might ask, were you not wary that we would try to rob you or something?" Michael smiled wryly.
"Ahahaha! You couldn't rub me even with double of your numbers. You must be new around here, right?" The woman burst into a fit of laughter.
"Yes, we are new here." Michael nodded.
"Then it's no wonder you haven't heard of Big Bertha. No one messes with me." The woman, Bertha, said, pointing at herself with her thumb. "Well, since you boys are new in town, how about I point you to a nice inn?" Bertha asked.
"Erm, don't worry about that. We will rest in our carriage until morning." Michael waved down her offer.
