This man's name was Steven, and he was currently seated on the highest seat at the row of seats before Bellar. He was the patriarch of the Granin Family, and head of the council.

Bellar was currently being queried by the council that presided over the Granin Family. Unlike the Henshaw Family who had a sole patriarch, the Granin Family was presided over by a council who oversaw all the affairs of the family. The council was headed by the Patriarch of the family, but he did not hold all the power of the family in his hands.
