A New Home For The Blue Salamanders

Michael brought back the three dozen salamander hatchlings back to the town with him. He had not been prepared for them to hatch, so he had to send back the boys back first so that they could go and bring back several empty barrels. They filled up the barrels of water with the mana infused water from the lake, before putting the salamander hatchlings into them.

Only the first hatchling that was stated to be the future king of the Blue Salamanders refused to stay in the barrel. Instead, it had chosen to perch on Michael's shoulder, while making cute, garbled sounds.

"Gaaa~!" The hatchling made yet another sound when it spotted a squirrel on a tree. Normally, it would have reacted in a much different way, showing off some hesitance and hostility, but in Michael's presence, for some reason, it simply acted like a fascinated baby.
