"Why did we let them go, father?" Ryncol asked as the carriage rolled down the dirt path as they returned to Seneris. Just like the others, he was perplexed at why Michael had let the people, who were obviously trying to steal from them, go.

"We will meet them again back in Seneris. There was no need to be in a hurry." Michael replied with a smile on his face. He was thinking of how much commotion was brewing back in Seneris right now.

As for the three men that had tried to rummage through their carriage, Michael had no idea who they were or who they worked for. But it mattered little, as their boss would probably show himself sometime soon.

"Just in case, you guys should be prepared to fight." Michael warned them. They would probably meet trouble the moment they made it past the city's gates.
