Chapter 8 : mission and preparation

I look at the moon and blow the smoke out I turn to yui to see tears in her eyes after running her hands along my scars.

Yui "why do put your body through this" I say nothing and just look at her. 'I don't know it was the same in my past life' I think to myself she turns over I can see the shining tears under the moon light. I lean in and wipe her tears.

I look over at my phone on the bedside table. 'No caller ID hmmm' I think as I pick it up.

"Hello kasper"

Kasper "ohhh you knew?!" I can hear him say in amusement.

"What is it kasper?" Questioning thinking about going another round with yui.

"The time table has been moved up, meet at your father safe house in Osaka in the bar nayuta 12pm"

"Understood" is all I say as I Hung up and walk over to the shower and get in as yui follows me.

A hour later-

I lean down and kiss yui forehand.

Yui "come visit me again" she says as the other women who know her go.

Other ladies "oooohhhh" knowing that im yui favorite. She turns red ass a rose pushes me out the door and closes it. As I place my hand on the door and my eyes lose there light again.

"Sure thing yui" I say under my breath as I walk past the rest of the ladies and give a wink. I pull out my phone and dial John.

"John I'm coming over I need equipment/information let's head to the Andāwārudo"

John "you sure?"

"Yes be there in a hour" hanging up I walk outside and cover my eyes. 'Fucking hell its bright'. I head to Johns

[John home ]

Pulling up to John home much like mine but the place having brighter wood on its outside. That and the fact there's a lady tending to the flowers in the garden off to the right.

I pull in the drive way turn off the car and get out.

Helen "Yama it's been in a long time how have you been" she says walking up to me and giving me a hug.

"Helen yes it's been a while" hugging her back saying "where's John at?" Before I hear.

John "if I didn't know any better I'd think you were Seducing helen" he says in a joking not joking Tone.

Helen "John" she says as she looks at him with a are you stupid look.

"Let's just go inside before Helen beats your ass" I say walking pass the two lovers into the house. Going towards the the living room the has was nice completely renovated to match something in America full kitchen with black cabinets and white marble Countertop a bar type island. A bookshelf in the middle thar separates the dinning room from the living room with a few steps leading down to the living room a long dark grey L shaped couch with a all glass coffee. I go over sit and lean back on the couch as John and Helen walk in.

Helen "want some home made tea Yama?"

I nodded to her and look at John. She walks into the kitchen. "John there's things I need and I know we left that place for a reason but There's someone there I'd like to see as well"

I cross my leg and lean my head back pushing my hands through my hair as I look at the ceiling.

John "I understand I thought we were retired" he says in his usual tone as he looks over to Helen.

"You don't have to come with me but I need gold coins" I say understand his hesitation.

John "I have them and you know I'll go with you, you were the only reason I could have gotta out in the first place to be with Helen".

Helen "want to stay for dinner Yama?" She says with a bright smile while handing me the tea.

"Hell yeah I missed your cooking Helen" I say as I think of the amazing food that was waiting for me.

[small time skip]

After a few hours of us talking, laughing and remembering the past. I look at John in the door way as he moves Helen hair to the side kisses her forehead. He stands up and walks over to me going towards the garage I fellow. We enter he moves the garage cabinet revealing a small door going under ground. Descending the Stairs the lights flicker on showing a large space with gun racks ar-15 and ak of all varieties a fucking Barrett and a black closet he walks up it bends down and moves the bottom of the closet over pulling out a black box he opens it and shows me the gold coins.

John "take a suit" while looking back at me I just nob at him taking a Armani suit and trench coat.

Going off to get changed I come back and see John sliding he dress shirt on looking at his back I see bullet marks and a few scars.

'We both have things we can't get rid of or take back' I think while going over and grabbing my heckler and placing it on my back.

Getting out of the underground and closing the door i make a call.

Yuka "what's up Yama" he answer right away.

"I need a car sent to johns house" saying nothing and hanging up I tell John. "Why not show up in style haha"

Smoking a cigarette with John I see a car pulling Up and both me and John look at eachother and * whistle.

'A all black 2006 Rose Royce damn this car is nice' thinking while the driver gets out goes to the back and opens the door then John and I step in. Driving off with the car I look at my watch ' I have 3 hours before the meeting with kasper i can make it work'. I reach over and press a button on the side console and it slides open to show a few glasses and a bottle of 1792.

"Bourbon right John" while pouring it in to glasses. He nods and takes a glass.

John "Driver karaksa hotel grande" while he takes a drink.

Watching the moving lively city as we make our way to out destination/past I light a cigarette and enjoy my drink cause after this it's going to be hell.

Pulling up to the hotel I tell the driver to drive around back as we do I see a familiar scene a Booth with a shabby looking Guard to the entrance to the underground parking lot. We pull up and the guard comes to the door John cracks the window and hands him his membership card.

Guard "really" he looks at Johns card and then he says "you working again John" as he hands back his card he says nothing and roles the window up as the gate moves and we go in. Parking the car and telling the driver to wait here We walk up the door but take a left to a black gate. Feeling the side of it I place a gold coin in it as the gate rolls out of the way revealing a elevator. Stepping on to it and leaning against the back of it John presses A1 as the gate closes and we go up after a half a minute the door opens. Stepping out I see new people in the lobby sitting on the couchs that's are in several different places in the room leaning against The columns and sitting at a few small tables.

Ignoring that me and John walk up to the hotel Managers front desk who's on his computer a kind of tall dark skinned man bald with glasses named kain 'I guess this worlds Version of Charon' thinking to myself as John places his card down.

looking up at John.

John "kain"

Then he looks over to me and ever so slightly he's eyes widen. While Im just smiling at kain.

"kain"

Kain "Yama" Nodding his head at me and continues. "You two working again?"

We look at eachother and say at the same time

"Is the owner in?"
