CHAPTER ONE: HEARTBROKEN!

DAY 1

It's 3:00pm and I decided to go over to Nelly's. I have only a few friends here,just Nelly,Aurora and Debbie.

so,I got on the road then I reached her front porch and rang the doorbell bit strangely there was no answer. Maybe she was not at home,but, that's not possible,she never goes out except to Andrew's on Saturdays.

I rang the bell again and still no answer. i started to panicking as different thought started running through my head then I tried opening the door and surprisingly it opened.

I entered through the varanda and it was quiet as usual because she didn't live with her family, according to her.

I entered the sitting room and I saw someone legs reaching out from the sofa like someone was lying there.

WAS IT ANDREW?

I tiptoed there and stretched to see who it was and immediately my legs started shaking and my knees were weak . I felt sharp pains in my chest like I was pierced a hundred times.

WHY WOULD SHE DO THIS TO ME?

I glared around looking for her and she comes out from the kitchen holding a glass.

'Rapha....' she stopped when she saw me. She looked at him on the couch and looked back at me. she had "I could explain" eyes but I don't think I want to hear it. She walked over, held my hand and took me outside the house, I just followed her still feeling heartbroken.

' I can explain ' she looked at me. My eyes has already seen it all, no explanation is needed.

' I don't need it,Nelly.You know I really liked Mike so why all this?. I've loved this guy for months now and you knew it ' I said with my face already wet with tears.

she looked at me with those eyes that could never lie. I always knew when Nelly was lying and now her eyes were telling me she's innocent which means she has nothing to do with Mike but how can I ignore what my eyes saw?.

' please Ne....' she cut me short. Her facial expression suddenly changed like it wasn't her speaking but someone else. I felt a strange aura fill the atmosphere.

' oh please Leah. I can't keep doing this. I'm sorry but I also loved Mike but because you liked him too, I did nothing about my feeling. I waited for you to confess to him or least talk to him but you didn't so I had him ' she said almost screaming.

All I felt like doing this moment was to stand on the tallest building in carlifonia and scream till my heart content.

I also want to just go home and cry for weeks. How could I lose my bestie and the love of my life in just a day?.

' How could you?' I said simply. ' How could I?...How could I have trusted you Nelly?. How did I trust you with my crush?. you've really changed '. was all I could say.

' Just leave Leah. And I would advice you to let Mike and I be ' was what she told me. why would she say that?. I can lose him, like he was mine but never Nelly.

' Please Nelly. I can't live...' she cut me short again.

' Just go!' she screamed and went inside her house.
