I skipped all the way home to the humming of Jack and Jill , I couldn't wait to see Mummy, I want to tell her about all the stars I got in class as a reward for getting a question correct.

Mummy hadn't been herself a few months ago, she was always absent minded ,she wouldn't get up from bed and shevwould constantly check herself in the mirror as if seeking validation

Dad noticed,so he advised that I should constantly be with her and chat with her so that she won't be absent minded body present, we took her to her favorite places like the church(it was one of mum's favorite places because it made her feel secure and Joyful) ,made her favorite food,we even played songs that she liked to listen.

Mummy's better now, I arrived at our the front yard and I had just entered, when I saw Mummy with some brown boxes at the porch

"Mummy what are these , are we having a yard sale or something "

"baby your....your back so early"Mum looks suprised and looks at me inquisitively

"Mum I'm always back at this time"

"Yeah but you said you wanted to go for tryouts at the dance club"

"I don't want to dance anymore I want to make music like Celine Dion, I will tryout tomorrow" I say, mum sighs heavily and stares at me.

"Baby your Dad and I have something really important to tell you...let's go inside so we can talk k"

"Is something wrong"

"Everything's fine baby "

"Can I eat first" I pout while rubbing my tummy

"Yes you can" Mummy chuckles ,while the brown boxes are still at the porch Mummy and I walk into the house , I sit down on the green bean bag in the lounge giving God thanks for today ,The word of God says to always give thanks and pray without ceasing,

Daddy is coming down the stairs and into the to the lounge when he sees me ,he looks

"suprised?" I say as Daddy settles in the black and white leather couch

"Yeah...your home early"

"Hmm... Mummy said the same thing too"

"Uhhh.....she did"

"Uh-huh"

"where's your Mum"

"In the kitchen, told her I was hungry"

"okayyyy.....what are you watching "

"Dunno , what should we watch"

"Let's watch Iesodo ,I will search it up on YouTube for you yeah"

"Okay"I join Daddy on the couch , while dad searches for Iesodo, Mummy comes out of the kitchen holding a plate of delicious pasta, my favorite, I pray over the food and dig in

" thanks Mummy, it's taste so good"

"Your welcome...Gerald I need to talk to you in the kitchen"

"Okay, eat slowly princess and freshen up when you are done."

Mummy never calls Daddy by his name , makes we wonder what they are talking about.
