[Indra POV]

*Twelve Years Ago (When Jigen showed up]*

"To think these inferior creatures weren't able to weaken you, Hatake Indra. To think an Otsutsuki would be born outside the clan," A regal voice rang out behind me.

I turned, looking at a man in a dark cloak that had been standing right behind him without my notice, "Who are you?" I asked, as the expression on my face morphs into a frown.

I immediately tried sensing his chakra and it was massive, dwarfing mine by a very long mile. 'Even if I was at full power I still won't be a match for him, there should be no one as strong as this in Naruto, butterfly effects are not that powerful. Unless!!' my eyes widened at the realisation of who's standing right in front of me. 'Jigen!!! shit... this bastard wants my body, I expected this to happen but not so soon. I have to run.'

I was already prepared to escape, I wasn't arrogant enough to try and face Jigen with less than half of my chakra left, but I doubt he'd let me leave easily. 'How did he even know I'm an Otsutsuki or part Otsutsuki for now, I've kept that information to myself since I was reborn here,' I wondered, not knowing how he'd know that at all.

"Who're you? and what's an Otsutsuki?" I asked, feigning ignorance. I was trying to buy time to escape, I needed to create space between us, we were standing too close so if I create a portal right now he'd be able to follow me inside. And my system variation lacks the strength suppression the original version had. Although he won't be able to sense anything inside, he'd still be at full strength. And a fight against Jigen inside the system dimension would be more damaging to me, No one but me can access the dimension, but if an Otsutsuki enters, I'm not certain if they can just create their own portal out.

Jigen immediately activated his karma, black markings spreading across his chin and eyes in a sunburst vertical pattern, a long curving horn grew from his left brow and wrapped around the back of his skull before jutting out from his right temple, resembling a crown.

I felt it, the aura Jigen gave off changed drastically and I tensed due to this. I immediately sent my chakra into the ground, a wooden dome wrapped in ice both inside and out formed around me, blocking my vision of Jigen but I could still feel his chakra since the distance between us wasn't that great. I shrank myself immediately after the dome finished forming, then I created a purple portal heading to one of the islands in the small world since he might still be able to follow me inside, I couldn't take the risk of leading him to the dimension the others are living in. I felt the ice-wooden dome hybrid explode, the force of the explosion luckily sent me tumbling into the portal.

I fell on the floor tumbling for a few meters, destroying some of the cocoons that had formed around the evolving animals. "Fuck!" I cursed out as I felt the chakra of Jigen enter the sub-world just before the portal closed.

"You can't escape from your fate," Jigen arrogantly said, as he returned to his normal size.

I chuckled, "If you are so powerful, you wouldn't have asked those inferior creatures to assist you, that's what you called them right? although I do agree with you they are inferior in comparison," I retorted as I stood back up. "I wonder, what lie did a mighty being such as yourself tell them to get such devotion from them, they were really bent on killing me, spouting such nonsense as 'I am a threat to this world'. You must have felt pathetic begging for the help of inferior creatures," I taunted him, I knew how arrogant Jigen was from Boruto, his anger might cause a slip-up and I'd capitalise on that to escape. I wasn't stupid, even angry, Jigen would still stomp me.

He didn't reply immediately but his entire demeanour changed, he was angry just as I'd expected. I took a deep breath, letting lightning chakra run amok in my body. My eyes for a brief moment changed into the patterns of the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan, 'Amaterasu', my sword was coated in black flames.

"Amaterasu of the Uchiha clan, so the rumours are true, you have the ability to steal bloodlines," Jigen said before chuckling. "Do not worry, I'd put it to good use."

I had to roll out of the way as Jigen's foot slammed into where I was, icicles shot out of the ground where his foot was but he dodged by leaping backward. I already expected that, the all-killing ash bones I'd already created behind me and then shrunk down shot towards Jigen right as leaped backward not giving him any time to dodge. The bones returned to full size right in front of him, he was surprised but he managed to react by shrinking it with his 'Sukunahikona'.

'This is going to be a slugfest.'

Jigen was enraged, it was very obvious and it wasn't from when I taunted him. "You!! how do you have the abilities of Kaguya and my dojutsu?" he asked angrily. "So you're a progeny of that traitor. I'd extract how she did it from your memories before I take over your body."

"Who is Kaguya?" I feigned ignorance. "Oh! wait, do you mean that white skinned woman, with pale blue hair?" I asked in mock surprise.

"I saw her in my dreams mercilessly beating up a horned man, the horned man was then begging for his life but she killed him instead. The woman called me her son, wait! the horn on your head looks like that on your head," I said feigning surprise. "If she's my mother, does that mean you're my father? How did you survive? was that fight a lover's quarrel, did she not kill you?"

"Papa!!" I said, I cringed at how low I have to stoop. 'How far have I fallen?!' I thought in self mockery.

"You!!!" Jigen screamed out as he attacked me, he rained blows upon blows on me for minutes on end. I was forced to use 'Jikan Hanten' on myself constantly to recover from the damage.

"Ahh!!" I screamed as a felt a chakra rod go into my left eye. 'Jikan Hanten' I activated my Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan ability with my remaining eye, reversing time on my body back by five seconds. I groaned in pain as I felt pain all over my body.

"Fuck!" I cursed out. "To think this jutsu has such a massive limitation."

My left eye was fixed, but five seconds ago I was still getting pummelled by Jigen so all the damage I had at that point in time appeared on my body, I probably didn't notice it earlier because I was too busy getting a beating from Jigen.

I continuously coughed out blood, my entire form was pitiful and my breathing was ragged. I saw my sword a few meters to the side, I didn't even realise I'd dropped it. I immediately summoned it to my palm, and the chakra of one of the tailed beasts I had absorbed was retrieved from my inventory.

I absorbed the chakra of the tailed beast, refilling my own chakra pool. "Ready for round two?!" I said as I created a purple portal and stepped into it, heading out of the sub-world. The damage to the island was extensive, if the fight continued in there the entire island alongside its inhabitants would be destroyed, wasting all my effort.
