You better be low key

Kyle and the other directors along with Anna and a few others from the president's office reached downstairs to welcome the team sent by Global Pharma.

Leading them was Allen Keller and he looked as dashing and charming as always. His laid back attitude yet formidable aura attracted a lot of attention from the young ladies who had already fallen deep for his looks.

A step behind him, two other equally good looking and striking people followed him. With one glance everyone could tell that they are no ordinary people.

Although they looked young, one in their early twenties and another in their late twenties, their aura and demeanor is no less than Allen who is leading them.

On his left side is a fair skinned, delicate looking, silver haired man. His fox eyes under his golden rimmed glasses twinkled under the lights, making him look alluring. On Allen's right side is a tall, tan skinned, well built guy. His cunning seductive smile made the young hearts skip a beat.

While the silver haired guy emanated a delicate yet quick witted aura, the other guy exuded playful yet cunning vibes. Allen is the mixture of both of their personalities and the three of them seemed like they are on equal footing. It showed how much Global Pharma cherishes this project.

A group of people followed the three of them and they are of various age groups but one thing is similar in them. They are surely top notch employees who were either geniuses or experienced or both.

Kyle successfully welcomed them with warm hospitality and led them to their work space so they could settle down. And, as planned, the old secretary sent Anna to take care of them. Two other people from the president's office followed her but Allen politely turned down the old secretary's kindness and told him that Anna would be enough.

Old secretary didn't think much and kindly reminded Anna to take care of them and be attentive to not offend them. By looking at the handsome trio, he could tell that they are people with power and influence. He once again wondered how their company got partnered with a giant like Global Pharma but little did he know that the newbie he looked down at just now is the sole reason for this collaboration.

Inside Allen's office…

"You two, what the hell are you doing here?" Anna asked as she sat down on the single sofa with her legs crossed.

"I was bored so I came on a vacation." the well built guy answered as he leaned on Allen's work table and took a sip of self made green smoothie that could make an ordinary person puke.

"That's it?" Anna asked, wrinkling her nose a bit because of the smell of that smoothie.

"As simple as that, Annie." he gave a smile which would have sent a cold chill down one's spine. But it didn't affect Anna even a tiny bit. She is already used to it.

"What about you, Brianna?" Anna asked.

"I was bored. I couldn't take that torture anymore so i came here for a breather." the silver guy said. His voice no longer sounded like a male but of a delicate woman.

"Are you trying to suffocate me? What if you are recognized by someone? I can't take any more stress than this." Anna complained as she threw up her hands in frustration.

"That's why I am dressing like a man. See, I even cut my hair. Am I not looking cute?" Brianna coquettishly as she pointed to her silver hair.

Anna sighed helplessly and looked at Allen who is pretending deaf and blind now.

"You coming here has already cornered me enough. I didn't want to mix my past life with my current one but now, it seems like I failed miserably." Anna said looking at Allen who only gave a helpless smile and shrugged his shoulders.

He knows that Anna is hellbent on drawing a line between her past life as daughter of Danvers family and current life. But people from her current life are now forming a bridge to her past life.

"Don't blame him. It is us who pestered him." Brianna said as she tried to cozy up to Anna.

"We won't trouble you much and we will be low key. We just want to take a look." she added as she giggled.

"You better be low key!" Anna said helplessly. She can't stay angry at Brianna as Brianna is like a little sister she never had. Their relationship is deeper than friends.

"I promise." Brianna grinned happily and looked at Clinton who was looking at them with a smile.

"I will keep her in check." he promised before sitting on the armrest of Anna's chair.

"You?" Brianna started laughing as she held her stomach.

"Yes, me!" Clinton grimaced.

"You both, you can have your fights in the room. Please don't start now. I can't explain the mess in this room later" Anna said, her voice laced with ambiguity.

"Hey, I am not that violent!!" Brianna protested.

"It was just one time." she mumbled.

"WHAT!!??" It was Allen who shouted this time.

Brianna is his cousin and she is still a kid in his eyes. The only girl in the whole family.

"What did you do, Clint?? I asked you to take care of her but not on the bed for God's sake!!" Allen scoffed with gritting teeth.

"Bro, what are you talking about?" Brianna asked.

"I didn't expect gentleman Allen to have a dirty mind." Clinton added.

"We were arguing about something a few days back and it escalated into a fight. We kind of destroyed the room with knives and broke some furniture while exchanging some moves." he explained with a grin.

Allen felt his ears turn red with embarrassment.

His facade as a gentleman in front of Anna is getting shredded slowly.

Anna chuckled and shook her head looking at the trio.

Brianna is Allen's cousin from the maternal side.

Clinton is Allen's childhood friend. A pretty close one.

"I will be going then. If I stay for any long, people might start speculating about some or other lame scenarios." Anna said and stood up.

Clinton, like always, gave her a brief hug and Brianna clinged to her like a koala bear before being pulled by Allen later.

'Jealous?' Brianna whispered a question at him and then pecked Anna's cheek.

Anna only smiled. She is already used to Brianna's clinginess to her.

In general, Brianna is an independent and stubborn person with a cold and indifferent facade but she is passionate and loving towards her loved ones, especially her.

They have hit off the moment they met as if they were familiar with each other from years ago.

"You have disguised yourself like a man now. Don't get too close to Anna or else, it could start some unnecessary rumors." Allen said, this time dragging her with him to half a meter distance from Anna.

Brianna pouted helplessly. If not because of her extraordinarily special status she wouldn't have cross dressed.
