Power house of allure

'Brother is right. There is really something between this secretary and Aiden.' Zara thought.

Her brother is Aiden's right hand man and executive. He was there when Aiden and Anna met for the first time at a funeral.

So, he got a chance to notice the changes in both Anna and Aiden when they came across each other.

Though they managed to conceal their emotions at that time, it took some time to compose themselves and that window period was enough for a brilliant man like her brother to notice.

And, he shared this with her when they met a few days back. So, Zara paid special attention to Anna and it didn't go wasted.

"I am gonna go to take a call outside. Be careful Kyle." Anna whispered to her brother while Aiden and his secretary were busy thinking.

Kyle nodded his head, assuring his sister that he can take care of himself.

While they were socializing with others, Anna kept track of people in her red list. Those are the potential rivals and obstacles for Kyle's progress in the company. And she could tell that they would approach Kyle at a suitable time. So, Anna reminded her brother to be cautious and left the hall.

"Did you see? That lowly secretary indeed has Kyle wrapped around her little finger." A girl who was sitting not too far away whispered to her friend. She was Kyle's middle school friend.

"So, the rumors are indeed true!" Another girl exclaimed.

"I have heard that she always spends time with either the three hotties from Global Pharma or with Kyle." the first girl gossiped.

"My father had managed to pull out some details about those three people from Global Pharma. They are big shots. Wealthy, powerful, influential and comes from aristocratic families of Country M. They are quite a catch even to us let alone that measly gold digger." the second girl scoffed.

As this is the first time a reputable and century-old company has stepped into their country's business world, everyone paid close attention to it, so checking out Aiden, Clinton and Brianna was expected. But they don't know that there is very little truth in the information they dug out.

"I saw her sending flirtatious glances at other second generation heirs. She is the classical gold digger." the lady who just took a seat spatted. She was just jealous of Anna for having close interaction with Aiden.

"She even dared to interact with our Adonis!! She must be hoping to leave no man in this room." the same woman said.

Deep down even they know that most of their words are just accusations. Anna has never looked at other men let alone send them some signals.

She is not the one who tried to interact with Aiden who is lovingly called as 'Adonis' by the women. He was the one who tried to do it.

"Mr. Allen Keller is here. He is looking dashing in a black suit!! He is the equal match to our Adonis." One of Aiden's fangirls fawned as she approached the table of young ladies. Just now she heard the commotion at the entrance and found out that the director of Global Pharma, Allen Keller, had arrived.

Before anyone at the table could react, they saw a dashing man walk towards Kyle and Aiden's table. Following him behind is an extremely seductive and charming lady.

She could be called a powerhouse of allure. Every moment of her screamed irresistible temptation and bewitchment. From the moment she entered the venue, many men had their eyes plastered to her. She has that charm on everyone.

Her charm was just not because of her looks but also because of the confidence and nobility she eluded. She has the aura of a royal,highly revered and admired.

"This is Scarlett Evergreen. My secretary." Allen, who just approached Aiden's table, introduced the lady to Aiden, Kyle and Zara after exchanging pleasantries.

"I heard a lot about you, Mr. Fletcher. It's a 'pleasure' to meet you." Scarlett said, her voice is as melodious as a siren's. Everyone who heard her might fall into trance but Aiden is different.

Aiden raised his brow and looked into her eyes, trying to detect the underlying meaning of her words.

But those blue eyes are as clear as water and as calm as still lakes.

"Pleasure is all mine." Aiden said as he exchanged a handshake with her.

Somehow he knows that Scarlett is no simple lady. She bore a little resemblance to Anna in demeanor and aura wise.

Her concealing eyes reminded him of Anna as she has the same expression most of the time nowadays.

He deduced long back that Anna has been concealing many things about her from him and the Danver family. Although she looked a bit naive and gentle outwardly, he knows that she is quite a contrast to the character she is portraying. She might actually have the same charm and conduct as Scarlett here.

"I hope you achieve what you are aiming for, Mr. Danver. I look forward to seeing an incredible young man in his teens, managing a huge company 'independently'." Scarlett told Kyle as they exchanged handshakes. She emphasized the word 'independently'.

Zara and Scarlett had brief pleasantries and Allen excused himself to socialize with others.

Aiden looked at the receding figures and couldn't help but think that Scarlett knows about his and Anna's past.

Though she was extremely polite to him, he could detect loathe and anger in her voice.

It was smooth, gentle and sincere when it came to Kyle. But she emphasized one word as if telling him that he shouldn't disturb others' lives anymore. He could tell that she is talking about Anna who is here to help her friend and Danver family.

If Kyle is capable, she shouldn't have stayed behind. So, is Scarlett indirectly blaming Kyle for disturbing Anna?
