Their nervousness increased when his lips curved up a bit. His smile is handsome but equally scary as well.

Meanwhile, Aiden looked at Kyle who was staring at him. For a second his eyes wandered off to look at Anna and when their eyes met, they averted their gaze.

Although he wants to smile at her, he is afraid of how she will react. So, he remained indifferent. He can't take risks when everyone present in the room is looking at him.

"Mr. Fletcher, what happened, sir?" Kyle asked when he noticed that Aiden was spacing out.

"I have good news, Mr. Danvers. Global pharma and laboratories, one of the top ten pharmaceutical companies in the world, have agreed to sign a contract with us." Aiden said.

After the old CEO, Mr. Danvers died, everyone thought that it was almost impossible for Danvers corporations to collaborate with Global pharma.

Danvers have recently ventured into this field while Global Pharma is on the top of its food chain. It has taken quite an effort from the old CEO to attract Global Pharma but the response was not satisfactory enough.

So, this is something utterly surprising and no one has seen it coming.

"Is it really great news, Mr. Fletcher? Everyone seems so happy" Kyle whispered to Aiden.

Though he knows that Global Pharma is a top company, he is not aware that newly established Danvers pharma is levels apart from Global Pharma.

"Kyle, you need to learn so much yet. At least start with the company affairs, okay?" Aiden chided Kyle for being clueless about his grandfather's work. But who can blame him? He is just a seventeen year rebellious teen who loved to enjoy his life.

"Sorry, sir. I haven't focussed much on the company in the past. I will try my best from today" Kyle sincerely apologized.

"Good," Aiden said.

"Yes, this collaboration will benefit the company tremendously. As one of our newly established businesses is pharma, this tie up with Global pharma will bring our pharma company to the top 10 pharma companies in this country" Aiden added.

Danvers corporations are into many businesses. Grandfather Danvers started a construction company and then expanded his kingdom into investment firms and real estate.

Later, Anna and Kyle's father who was once into the medical field started Danvers Pharma but later he passed it to his father.

He was a great business man but he left everything after meeting his wife and abruptly decided to change his career path.

After that Kyle's grandfather didn't focus much on the pharma company his son established. He passed it to a branch family and only in recent years he started to look into it personally.

"Wow…. This is really good news, sir. My grandfather would have been delighted" Kyle exclaimed.

"Yes, grandfather Danvers would have been very happy. He was hell bent on collaborating with Global Pharma and though I didn't know the reason, I could tell that it was very important to him."

"This good news is also bad news for you. Workload will increase and there will be a lot of pressure on you. One mistake and everyone, especially Mr. Brown will get a chance to blame you. You get what I am saying, right?" Aiden asked.

After all, this collaboration is crucial and a once in a lifetime opportunity for Danver Corps. If Kyle messes it up, he will be kicked out of his position after six months.

This is a golden opportunity for Mr.Brown and his underlings to take over Danver corps so, there are high chances of fouls play from their side.

"I need to be cautious and alert," Kyle agreed.

"You should always be one step ahead of them if you want to save the company," Aiden said

Meanwhile, Anna was the only one who stayed indifferent.

Though she remains calm, she is emanating a chilly and indignant aura.

Aiden for sure noticed it and it made him wonder why she is feeling troubled by this news. But her appalling mood is explainable as this collaboration will put Kyle's position in danger.

'She did her homework then.' he thought inside. Otherwise she wouldn't have understood the risks Kyle has to go through. It eased his worry a little knowing that Kyle can rely on Anna.

Before Aiden could resume the meeting, his secretary came inside again and whispered something to Aiden, who in return told Kyle about it.

This time, it is Kyle who started feeling troubled.

This is unexpected!!

"Global pharma is sending their director and their best team to work with us. The director would be here in a few minutes" Kyle announced.

This is quite a surprise.

They just got to know that Global pharma has agreed to the business partnership and that's really great news but who would have thought that their director would be here the very next minute??

They haven't even prepared to welcome him. Though the contract was sent to Global Pharma, it has to be revised as both the parties are interested now.

Meanwhile, when Anna heard this, she could only purse her lips. She finally understood what's happening.

She clenched her fists and sighed. Already feeling her headache coming.

God is really playing games with her this time.
