- Edmund POV -

As soon as the fight began I release my territory, The 'light of sin' one of my family's bloodline talents imbues the territory. With the debuff that light of sin applies I will have an edge versus him, add on my mastery of the dark attribute I will end this as fast as I can.

A shadow with a blade appears behind Nova and he doesn't move and just looks me in the eyes with a smile on his face. Arrogant bastard will fall before me, I will show this wannabe his place.

The blade launches forward and pierces Nova through the chest and he doesn't even move, some blood comes down from his nose but disappears into steam. He looks down at the blade and it dispels even when I am filling it with my spirit energy to slowly try to poison him with my darkness.

"Cute, I almost felt that one." A little flash of fire and his wound is sealed causing my eyes to widen, he has the Asmodeus trait to heal. How is that possible? An Asmodeus would have to give their lifeblood to share their healing with someone.

"Ah, I see. She actually does love you doesn't she." It only makes sense seeing the Asmodeus healing before my eyes. He is no Asmodeus that much is for sure, but he received the lifeblood of one. A cocky smile plasters his face and he nods.

A chill sweeps through the arena and he fixes his expression to a neutral one. What was that? I spin to look for the source and see a pair of glowing eyes peering down into me from the VIP box and shutter. I should keep my mouth shut.

"Ah, well the wifey doesn't like that so let's move back to the fight." I nod and summon more darkness blades in my own hands. If I cut him to pieces he won't be able to heal, at least if I wear his stamina out that will be the case.

I launch myself forward and am met with a knee in the face from Nova as he teleports Infront of me. I grit my teeth after jumping back, I feel a tooth knocked free and spit it out with some blood. I feel my immortal body bloodline ability regrow the tooth but it will take a few hours, this fight is more serious than I ever thought it would be. I thought he would be tired after summoning that giant black snake but he seems full of energy.

"I admit to having underestimated you, but that ends now. I will show you my full power and end this soon." I take a stance and condense my power, with it condensed I consume ten times the spirit energy but I can jump up a small tier. I will end this before I pass out and claim victory.

"Ok." He stands straight and a shimmer in the space around him lets me know he is ready to defend my attack. I will just have to break through his defenses and claim this victory.

"AHHHHH!" With a mighty roar, I launch myself forward with all my power and aim a spear of darkness at his heart. He stands ready to take it and I respect that, it takes a true man to face the challenge of this attack without showing any fear.

- Nova POV -

Does this idiot think I would just stand here if I didn't have a way to defend his attack!?

I can simply teleport out of the way, or teleport him out of the way. I can also just dispel his darkness since it's just a normal darkness attribute that I have to dispel all the time for Zola after an experiment has gone wrong.

But since he looks so determined I will also put my determination on the line, I will catch it with my bare hands.

Sadly my Balam super strength didn't put me in kingdom tier and I am just in a small realm between true peak demon overlord and kingdom. But this physical strength is enough to even beat Catherine's and Zola's power. Their magic and experience have me smashed by a lot, but my physical strength is the strongest among us devils.

I peek back at Catherine while I have Agares active to slow time to a crawl, her eyes are still boring into me and promise retribution for her embarrassment. This Edmund bastard got me put in hot water so I will give him a little embarrassment as well.

I will stop his spear with one finger.

Time speeds back up to where he is now at least at a turtles pace and I hold up my pointer finger on my right hand.

His eyes slowly widen as he realizes what I plan to do and his face slowly turns red in rage, I lock eyes with him and give a wink. He knows he is about to lose a lot of his public respect with this and it's too late to turn back.

The tip of the spear hits my finger and it feels like a pen, pushing into my finger, I keep steady and it slowly bends out of shape and crumbles back into his hand as he pushes forward with a roar of defiance.

When his spear is completely broken he still stands while shaking in place, whether it is rage or embarrassment or even a lack of power I don't know. Maybe it's all three and he will pass out and save himself some embarrassment of walking off the stage.

"You beat my all-out attack with a finger." he slowly turns his head and looks over his shoulder at me in disbelief.

"I did." He nods with a hint of respect and fear both present in his eyes as he walks toward the edge of the stage and jumps off.

"And Lord Nova is the winner!!!" The announcer speaks once Edmunds's feet hit the ground, the crowd screams, and I look back at Catherine.

Sweat forms on my brow as she watches Edmund leave and I pity the poor prince. He poked the bear and is in her cave, a bad time is guaranteed.

- Teris POV -

"He destroyed him, I need to withdraw before I suffer public embarrassment like this." Aleus my other Brother speaks up as he turns to his servant and begins to bark orders to withdraw him at all costs.

I turn to my inner mind world and kneel before the shadow of a man present inside.

"Lord, what is your order." The shadow stands over me and looks down at the back of my head.

"We are not ready to face him, we haven't set up the Bloodfall bead and cant absorb his power or trap him with it. withdraw and same some face and don't get dragged into the mud like that idiot of a half-brother of yours." I thank demon god, I didn't want to get thrashed by that freak.

"As you wish my lord." I stand and prepare to leave when a hand lands on my shoulders.

"Send our best men to observe this Nova, he has some special unexplainable special power that I want for myself. No matter the cost we need to figure it out and make it our own." I nod and disappear from the inner world and am back in the VIP room with my full brother Aleus.

"Are you alright Teris? You keep zoning out, if you weren't healthy after breaking through you shouldn't have entered the tournament. I will have you withdrawn for your health, little brother." He smiles at me and I suppress a sneer.

What brother? You would shove me into death if it meant a better foothold for yourself, don't kid me with that kind smile. You aren't the brother I grew up respecting, you are nothing more than a monster.

I gaze back at the stage and correct myself, Nova is a monster.

Aleus is a worm.

- Azgalor Beelzebub POV -

"Damn DAmn Damn!!!!!!" Manu throws things around the VIP room and even kills a serving girl with a backhand. "He destroyed me! How can he be so powerful with no spirit fluctuations?!" I lean back and look toward the stage, Nova is currently smashing a demon overlord great demon into the ground.

I am next.

"I will avenge you, my friend." Manu stops slamming the corpse and looks over at me. "Give me your spirit power you have and I will destroy him. I will use the secret technique of the Beelzebub and temporarily breakthrough my current power and will break Nova with my own two hands." Manu sneers and shakes his head.

"I will permanently be weakened from such a thing, it's not worth the sacrifice." I grin seeing him try to hold back.

"Fine, I will withdraw and not embarrass myself as you did, a disgrace is what I would be if I walked in there to get beaten like a damn dog." I hear his teeth crack a she looks at me in fury.

"Fine, but you will give me your share of the treasure we discovered and stored in the crystal valley as payment. A few talented demons as well so I can shackle them and return to my full power." I ponder the deal when I go to counteroffer he cuts me off. "This deal or no deal."

I hold my hand out to begin to absorb his power and he nods and hands over his arm. As a power I wasn't expecting floods into my system I grin.

I will defeat you, Nova.

- Nova POV -

"Another victory for Lord Nova!!!!" A beaten great demon is dragged off the arena and I look toward the east of the colosseum, I feel something similar to Kia's devourer physique territory.

I smile feeling it disappear and the power of my next challenger skyrocket as he rushes to the arena.

This might be fun, I didn't think that he would be able to absorb the demon energy I left inside that envy royal family. It didn't seem to do much for him other than a buff of a small realm.

But that action confirmed it was Manu I fought earlier and that this is Azgalor, Kia's father.

I will remove the demonic energy after I beat him but a good fight for the crowd is needed at this point, I scared off a few golden gooses from coming out to play. So this is one of the last people who can try to give a good show, man I wish Raizen himself came.

A man arrives on the stage and his power shifts the air around him, seems he can't control it fully.

"And BEGIN!" He dashes madly at me and a giant fly appears in the air, a territory similar to Kia's try's to absorb more of my demonic energy but I prevent it with my experience training with Kia.

"Nice to me you, Beelzebub." I smile as I dodge his fist and lay my fist into his chest causing him to rock backward.

"Shut up and die!" I burn his fly and kick him in the chest.

He makes a grab for my leg but it snaps the arm in the way and connects with his ribs shattering them. He stumbles back and screams, the scream slowly turns to gurgle as his lungs fill with blood.

Oops, I discreetly drop a Phenex tear on him and he heals before everyone's eyes, the crowd starts screaming seeing the guy get up from a fatal wound.

"Wait.." He begins to see he has made a mistake but I walk toward him slowly and hold a finger to my lips, keeping his mouth shut with my power I equip the god-eating mask. His eyes widen to the size of saucers as he sees his family's artifact on my face.

"No waiting, I want to pay you back a little for making me angry." I know it's irrational to hurt someone for something they did in a book, but even if he hasn't killed Freya in this world he still made her life and Kia's miserable. He can take a little beating before I hunt him down in his safe house in crystal valley and kill him.

- Athena POV -

"Isn't that?" I hear Kia voices out.

"It is." They both emit a cold aura as we watch from the same VIP box as Catherine.

"I hope he kills him, wait he should save him for me." Kia growls.

"Who is it?" Krobelus asks seeing the two women look feral at the man getting slammed into the stage like a toy.

"My dad." We all look around at each other and even a few grin after seeing how happy the two are when Nova breaks his legs.

"I can have him captured for you if you want." The empress of the dark shadow empire offers, she has been trying to befriend us all in any way she can and it shows her determination which is a good sign. She is a good wife for Nova.

"Thank you Empr-." She is cut off by Catherine raising her hand.

"Call me Catherine when it is just us please." Freya smiles and continues.

"Thank you, Catherine, but I think Nova has a plan for him according to what he told me before." Catherine nods and we all go back to watching Nova.
