The moment the metal door opened, Vale came face to face with SCP-173. SCP-173's concrete arms are almost poking into his face and Vale's heart tensed instantly.

Knowing that he just got rid of the black mucus, he relaxed a little. But suddenly saw SCP-173, coupled with the environmental factors, and one can imagine how strong the impact of that fear is. Vale's forehead was covered with sweat and his mind was terrified.
