Looking Down on Your Man

Yueying scratched her head as she then proceeded to complain.

"The Great Master declined! What to do now? There's barely a month left and I still haven't practiced with Liang Feng. At this point, can we even win?"

"I told you, just be married to Moonlight! It's not a loss for you."

Huiyin answered her while gobbling up snacks.

"Maybe it's not a loss for me but... Liang Feng."

She looked down with a dejected expression.

Huiyin walked up to her and then knelt down.

"It's not the end of the world. For now, practice with Liang Feng and as for the problem, well, you can cross the bridge when you get there."

Yueying just nodded.

Huiyin exclaimed.

"Hey! If you don't cheer up, I'll smack you in the face 'till it hurts!"

Yueying looked up and saw her best friend's angry expression and then let out a small laugh.

"Fine, fine, fine. I'll think of ways to conquer this!"

She clenched her fists and raised it up with fiery determination in her eyes.

At the same time

"Liingqi, have you made preparations already? We'll do it tomorrow." a man spoke with dark expression in his face.

"I was born ready. I hated that Yueying ever since she entered our university." a woman with a wavy and silky hair replied. She was beautiful but compared to Yueying, she'd pale in comparison.

"You're only provoking her. Our real target is Liang Feng."

"Right. Remember your promise though. That after this is over, you'll partner with me for the battle."

"I promise."

Morning came.

Just as they were heading down, they again saw Liang Feng waiting for them outside.

"Aiyo, looks like your Prince Charming is here. I'll be going first, then."

Huiyin cheekily smiled at Yueying.

"What are you saying? Just come with us." Yueying retorted

"No way! I really don't want to be fed dog food!" Huiyin raised her arms and formed an 'X' sign then dashed off.

Liang Feng found the situation amusing so he chuckled.

"Good morning." he said.

"Good morning, Liang Feng." Yueying replied.

"Let's go."

They left as soon as Yueying nodded.

School campus

As they were walking, Yueying bumped into [1]Ling Ling Qi, making the coffee she was holding spill onto her dress.

"Ah, you bitch! Everytime I run into you something bad happens. If I dont settle this today, I'm not Ling Ling Qi!" She exclaimed.

"I'm terribly sorry. I didn't notice you." Yueying quickly apologized and bowed.

Just as Lingqi attempted to pull Yueying's hair, Liang Feng immediately appeared in front, making her froze.

"She already apologized. You don't have to go that far." Liang Feng stared at her with cold and piercing eyes.

Then, a man suddenly appeared beside Lingqi and wrapped his arm on her shoulder.

"Aiyo, a man bullying a woman, aren't you shameless? How about you pick someone your own size."

Tai Shun stared at Liang Feng mockingly.

"Alright. What do you want to do?" Liang Feng didn't flinch. In fact, his cold gaze got stronger, sending shivers on Ling Ling Qi's spine.

"A Helium match. I was heading to the practice arena anyways. How about it?" Tai Shun grinned confidently.

"Fine. Don't wine if you lose." Liang Feng said calmly.

"You..!" Tai Shun furrowed his brows, and dark lines appeared on his forehead.

Yueying then held onto Liang Feng's right arm.

"Don't. He's our university's top player right before Sunshine came in."

Yueying looked at Liang Feng with worries in her eyes.

"Are you looking down on your man now?"
