Because I'm Moonlight

At the classroom

"A new rule for the Battle for Supremacy has been added."

Everyone looked at each other as the professor announced.

"The players who wish to participate in the tryout for the battle MUST be married to each other in Helium."

Everyone relaxed. It was not as grave as they expected.

But, there was one person in the crowd who froze. Yueying was not expecting a rule like this. She was married to Moonlight. Then, what about Liang Feng? They still have not met in game. At least that's what she thought.

Liang Feng looked at her with amusement in his eyes. But he still tried his best to hold himself from laughing and just talked to her.

"Problem, my dear wife?" There were two meanings behind his statement. The first one being Yueying his future wife and the second meaning was that she was Liang Feng's wife in game. But she did not notice this.

Yueying stared at Liang Feng with a stiff expression.

"What do I tell the Great Master? How do I force a divorce out of him? With his stubborn personality, I'm sure he won't agree to it."

Liang Feng chuckled. He did not know whether to laugh or to cry.

"Yes, I'm sure he won't. But, you shouldn't worry because you don't need to divorce him."

"Why?" asked Yueying with a serious expression.

"Because I'm Moonlight." Liang Feng said to her with a serious expression.

As soon as she heard this, Yueying's eyes widened in disbelief.

"You stupid, crazy fool! I don't have time to joke around right now. And here I was, listening as if you were about to say something serious."

She slapped Liang Feng's shoulder while he gave a small laugh.

Indeed, he was telling the truth but why is the truth so hard to believe?

Throughout the whole class, Yueying just stared forward, clearly not listening to the professor nor the voices around her. She was thinking of a solution in her problem until Huiyin shook her.

"Hey, why are you dozing off? Class is over already and I'm hungry."

"I'm married to Moonlight. How can I force him to divorce me?" Yueying responded.

"Are you crazy?! You're married to the God of Battle! Forget the battle and don't break your marriage with him." Huiyin exclaimed.

"That can't be. I already promised this guy to be his partner. I'm true to my words." Yueying retorted as she pointed to Liang Feng.

He just gave a warm smile.

Huiyin rubbed her chin as she was in deep thought.

"You're right. Such a shame though. Then what to do?"

"I'll tell him the truth. What else? I'm sure our Great Master will understand! He's that great after all."

Yueying smiled.

They did not notice but Liang Feng was pinching his forehead, trying to hold himself back from bursting into laughter.

9:11 PM at a dorm room

Yueying stretched her hands and shook it, preparing for the great problem she has to face.

Her hands hovered on the keyboard of her laptop and logged into Helium.

When she arrived, she saw Moonlight sitting and leaning on a sakura tree, observing the magnificent view that can only be found in their own little map.

Heavenly Bloom approached him and spoke.

"Moonlight, Great Master, I'm truly sorry but I wish to ask for a divorce. You see, I am a student of Gamelore University and participating in the Battle for Supremacy. A rule stated that I have to be married to my partner. Can you please grant my wish?"

Moonlight did not move an inch. It was quiet for a few seconds until he stood up and turned around. He smiled and replied.

"No. Remember to train hard for the sake of your partner."

Moonlight immediately logged out.

Yueying froze after.

"EHHHHHHHHHHHHH????!!"
