Ronvic's Life

After their class ended, the two continued as planned and went to the mall. Ashanty was happy of course as Ronvic accompanied her, because there wasn't much traffic, they quickly arrived at the mall.

As they arrived at the mall, Ronvic parks his car inside the mall's parking lot. But before he could get out, Ashanty suddenly asked him a question that made him stop.

"Before we buy clothes, can we eat first? I'm already hungry." The girl said while her hands were on her tummy.

"Your choice, not mine." He said even he was hungry. But Ronvic doesn't mind if he's hungry.

Ashanty stares at Ronvic badly because of his very cold answer. Even though Ronvic always did that, she was still annoyed by it.

"You're always like that." She said this while she was still annoyed. And Ronvic smiled lightly at Ashanty.

"Whatever, there's nothing I can do if you're like that. Anyway, let's go to McDonald's." Ashanty said, and she grabbed Ronvic's arm.

After they ate, they immediately looked for clothes to buy. In the middle of their search for something to buy, Ashanty suddenly asked a question that Ronvic did not expect.

"Is there a story about why you became like that?" Ashanty said and looked at him. Ronvic also looked in shock because of Ashanty's question.

She asked Ronvic a question like that because even though they've been friends for almost 3 years, Ashanty doesn't know much about Ronvic's life because he doesn't talk much about that.

"You're curious, huh?" The man said and he look away.

"Of course, we've been friends for almost 3 years and I'm the only one who always talks about my life. Then you don't even tell me the story of your life? That's unfair." The girl said with a slightly red face.

"Calm down, we're at the mall." He said it while laughing a little bit.

"Tell me, I'm just curious why you are becoming like that," Ashanty said with a serious tone.

There was a little silence between the two of them because of Ashanty's question. Ronvic couldn't answer right away because he didn't want to talk about his life. They have been to a clothing store and after that, Ashanty was about to say something to break the silence between the two of them when Ronvic suddenly spoke.

"There was a girl in my past who caused me to be cold, like what you said. She is my ex-girlfriend, I am too attached to her, and I didn't expect that our relationship would suddenly disappear. It hurts, it took me a few years before I was able to move on, but now I'm okay. I'm healed. So right now, I don't let what happened in my past happen again." Ronvic said while looking for clothes for Ashanty.

"But what about those who love you, you don't want us to be part of your life?" Ashanty said while also choosing clothes to buy.

"Let's be realistic, people come and go. If they want to come into my life, that's fine, I'll let them. If they also want to leave, that's okay too. I don't care anymore. Those who want to stay, let them stay, those who want to leave, let them leave. That's it." He said while giving Ashanty some clothes.

"Maybe you were traumatized." She said while paying the cashier.

"I'm not traumatized, I'm learning from my mistakes." Ronvic said after Ashanty asked him to carry all of the clothes she bought.
