Ch:16 Unknown Behaviour

Dev and Raya were still inside bathtub as Raya had her head leaned on Dev's chest. "Dev you know there is a boy who had been pestering me to marry him"." Who is insolent enough to do that should I kill him" said Dev with a angry face. "No, Dev you can't kill him"said Raya with flustered face. " Why? "asked Dev with a frown on his face.

" Because when I was on my previous mission in the wild , I was surrounded by many beasts and even though I fought with them they were still in large number. And just as I was getting hopeless Daniel appeared with a middle aged man and saved me from getting eaten by the monsters. "explained Raya in one go.

" Oh.. so did you not thank him and gave him something in return "asked Dev. Since he saved her, she could just properly thank her and help him if he is in any problem. " Yes, I gave him my Peak Saint Rank Sword as a thanks and told him to call me if he needs any help. "said Raya.

" Then, Why is he pestering you? "asked Dev.

Then Raya started to explain the whole thing that happened. She has gone on a mission to kill a Peak Stage-5 Saint Realm Beast as some alchemist required the beast core as a alchemy material but when she entered the Evergreen Forest she couldn't find the beast so she went deeper into the forest and finally after reaching the inner region of the forest she found the beast and it turns out that the beast has brokenthrough to the Stage-6 Saint Realm but it was still easy for Raya to kill the beast since she was already in the Mid Stage-8 Saint Realm so she fought with him for a good 10 minutes and finally killed the beast and then hurriedly took out the core but due to the commotion caused by their fight she picked the attention of a Pride of Earth Lion and was surrounded by them and although they were only in between stage-6 to 7 saint realm they were still 20 or so lions and they were not some average beasts.

Rays fought with them for half an hour and killed 5 lions but her stamina and qi started to depelete so she used a Tier-3 Pill and got back to her peak state and once again started to massacre the beasts when she heard a frightening roar and then for the first time since she entered the forest she felt pressure because it was a Late Stage-8 Saint Realm Earth Lion but she couldn't escape because more than 10 lions were surrounding her then suddenly the Leader of these lions used his power and sent a earth spike towards her she immediately dodged it and then she used her sword technique and attack toward the beast but leader beast dodged it using a earth wall defense skill.

Taking this chance when she was distracted one of the minion lion attacked her from behind using it's claw and she was injured

and it was at this time when three people appeared and killed all the earth lions and protected her. They were obviously Daniel and his protectors. So in return she gave him her sword as well as a promise to help him once as a favor.

Daniel Scott is a child prodigy of Scott family one of the Royal Families of the world and he was more talented then Dev himself. It was said that he wasn't this talented from birth but when he was nine years old out of nowhere he started to show incredible intelligence and talent. He also awaken a powerful affinity to a rare element gravity.

"So what happened what does he wants now? " asked Dev after he calmed down and listened to the details Raya gave to him.

"He wants to meet me in the Starwood Restaurant as he have something important to talk to me but I know all he will do is pestering me to marry him " answered Raya.

"Oh.. then I have a plan for this. " said Dev with a smirk. "What do you want to do Dev" asked Raya. "Umm.. What about I meet him and clarify these things and see if he could leave you alone and I will also give him my thanks for protecting you? " answered Dev. "I have no problem with that. " said Raya.

"Ok and one more thing you will be not going anywhere from now on and will follow me everywhere I go. " said Dev with a serious face as he looked at Raya intently.

"hmm"said Raya as she knew she can't reject his words or he will force her anyway.

Then Dev gave a kiss on Rayas forehead and they both came out of the tub. After that both of them changed their clothes as Raya has her clothes in her storage ring and Dev's clothe were in his room. Then after getting ready Raya told the headmaid to get Dev some food so that he could get his mood freshen up go talk to his parents.

Meanwhile In the Silver Clan..

Duke was sitting in the meeting hall of the clan as he was discussing something with the council of elders when the doors of the hall opened and Riyansh walked in.

Riyansh firstly greeted his father and all the elders then asked "Father, Did you call me for something? "

"Yes, Riyansh I called you here to give you your first mission that you have to perform for the clan. "

"Oh.. Father What is it?. " asked Riyansh.

"Well let me tell you something first " said Duke as he started to explain about the Unusual Behaviour of the beasts in the outer and inner region of the Evergreen Forest that is in the outskirts of the Kashi City. It turns out that the beast living in the forest are attacking humans more than they have ever done. And many powerful beast are appearing in the outer region of the forest. Many weak monsters are getting berserk.
