Lunch Visits

Tammy woke when she heard the home phone ring. She got up and, as usual, found herself naked. It's been this way all week. She was flushed and hot too. When she glanced at her clock, it was half-past ten. She put on a robe and went to the living room to find three men looking at the phone as if it was a wild creature.

"Should we crush it or talk to it?" Adreen asked.

Tammy shook her head. The younger generations no longer knew what a home phone was. It was cute how they pondered on the machine with perplexed expressions. She took the receiver and answered. "Hello?"

"Tammy?"

"Oh, hi Susan." It was her best friend, sunny as usual. "Did you need anything, dear?"

"Tammy, did you forget I was visiting today? I just wanted to make sure you were already awake."

She frowned. "Oh dear, I forgot, but I'm awake and will get dressed shortly. Will you be staying for lunch?"

"I'm brining some blueberry muffins," Susan sang.

"Lovely! I'll see you in a bit." Tammy put down the receiver and faced the boys. She squinted when she noticed the living room seemed a little different. "Have you boys done some redecorating?"

"Why, yes, love. Do you like it?" Baledin was laying down on a plush couch she knew she didn't have before today.

Around the room were odd pieces of furniture, more stout and chunkier than her dainty ones. The drapes were dark and the fireplace was lit. "The candles are a bit too much and the drapes are too thick."

Baledin frowned. "Do you not find it homey?" He was holding a feather and waved it at her.

Tammy blushed as memories of feathers flooded her mind. She cleared her throat before she spoke. "Is this how your home was?"

"It was a lot hotter and darker but this would do nicely." He patted a small space for her to sit on.

Tammy sat in that small space, he back flushed against his skin. "I suppose you miss home once in a while." His arm snaked on her stomach and he sighed. She tried to disengage but to no avail. "Now, you three behave. My friend Susan is coming for lunch. She's not the type to put up to your shenanigans so I hope you have a shirt on."

Adreen shrugged. "It's too hot for a shirt but if you like, we've got some covering."

"Yes please." But their idea of a shirt versus her idea of one weren't the same. The boys put on a type of vest that left their chiseled chests still exposed. She sighed in exasperation. "I have to get lunch ready."

Adreen guided her to her room. "Oh no, deliciae. We'll prepare something while you dress up. We have something special for you in your wardrobe."

"For me?" When did they sneak in her wardrobe?

"Yes, mistress. Why don't you get dressed while we cook lunch, unless you want me to help you dress?" Caellum waved his eyebrows suggestively.

"Cheeky boys!" But she hurried to her room to escape more bantering. She wondered what those boys would be cooking.

When she got to her walk-in wardrobe, she gasped when she saw a black box tied with a red silk ribbon. She opened the box and saw an exquisite red silk wrap-around dress that was a little too revealing for her taste. With the dress came a matching silk and lace panty, hose and garters.

"Those boys," she sighed but got dressed anyways. A lonely grandma could get used to being showered by gifts by three handsome boys.

When she came out, she smelled cooked corn and lamb. The boys were quite capable in the kitchen. They had tidied up and set the dishes in the dining room table. A few minutes later, the doorbell rang and Caellum answered the door.

"Good morning, this way please." Caellum led Susan into the dining room.

Susan looked around. "Oh Tammy, I love what you've done to the place! And look at you, all gussied up just for a luncheon!"

Tammy blushed. "Well, the boys have been redecorating and cooking for me this past week."

"That dress makes you look like a rose in bloom! Why, you have to tell me which shop you got it from." Susan admired the bright silk. She wore a lot of bright colored dresses but they were usually made of cotton and knits.

"Um, the boys gave it as a gift. They also cooked our lunch." Tammy and Susan sat in the formal dining room. The long table was replaced with a heavy oak one with black marble top. The chairs were heavy so the boys assisted them in sitting.

"Lovely! All this reds and candles. Are you decorating for Christmas?"

"Chris-mas?" The three boys looked at each other.

"These poor boys! The youth of today are so out of touch from reality," Tammy shook her head.

"My granddaughters are the same. The old traditions are gone. But I heard your Tucker was coming home for Christmas." Susan gave her basket of muffins to Baledin who put them on a plate.

"Yes, he is and he had his friends come early to help around the house." Tammy beamed at the boys as they served lunch to two old ladies. They put a rack of lamb and some corn in their plates.

"Oh boys, I can hardly chew these," Susan looked at the plate. "Although I have to admit, it smells delicious."

"Shall we cut them up for you, mistress?" Caellum took a knife and started to cut up Tammy's lamb. Adreen did the same for Susan.

"These boys are spoiling me rotten! I don't know how I can exist when they leave," Tammy sighed.

The three demons looked at each other and mentally congratulated themselves. Yes, Tammy should not exist without them. She was falling for them and will soon pledge herself. It was only a matter of time.

"I must say, dear, you look positively radiant! As if you were getting younger and not older," Susan commented.

"Really? Must be the dress."

"For a woman of our age, we shouldn't be wearing such low collars though. Why, Father Michael will have a fit!"

Tammy covered her cleavage with her hands. "You think so? Am I trying too hard?"

The three boys started to fawn over Tammy saying it was not so. "This dress suits you, deliciae. If you feel good, then wear it all day long."

Tammy smiled at the boys, her cheeks rosy with health. "Thank you, boys, now how about you serve dessert?"

"Perhaps I should find some of these boys for myself. Do you think they have brothers?"

Baledin smiled. "I can send some brothers your way," he winked at Susan.

Susan fanned herself. "A trio of boys will certain keep me on my toes."

"Or on your knees," muttered Tammy.

"What was that, dear?"

"Oh nothing. I was just saying it will be marvelous decorating for the holidays. I know my boys will be helping me out. Their tastes are so different. Perhaps it is the times. Tucker would love to see me enter the modern age. He often remarked on it."

The boys served Susan's muffins and some donut with apple sauce. They catered to the two women's whims for the afternoon. Caellum served Tammy with seconds and tipped the apple sauce to the edge. Some of it dripped on Tammy's chest.

"Oh," Tammy exclaimed as she tried to wipe the falling sauce.

Caellum scooped it up with his fingers and licked them clean. "Oh, I was clumsy, mistress. Come, I shall clean you up!" He helped her up and escorted her back to her room. When the doors closed, the room transformed into a theatre, complete with red velvet draped. "It's my turn to play with you," he whispered into her ear.

As you've guessed, the demons can make someone young again even if it isn't in a dream. In the next chapter, Caellum will be having some fun.
