Power Cores

The two of them looked at each other and Chloe said "The Silver Angel....". Aaron then said "The White Demon....". The bell rang and they both just stood up while glaring at each other. Once they got to class their teacher then stood up and said. "Alright class! Today we have a few announcements to make, starting with are lesson for today: Power cores!". The students all groaned except for Widow who is.... a nerd.

"As you may know, a power core is what gives each of us a power. This cannot be taken or stolen, but is like a muscle for your body. Widow, could you come up here?". Widow then walked up smiling and Chloe knew this would be a good show. Aaron.... Aaron was just staring in anticipation. "As you might know Widow is very popular these days. Widow, would you mind showing your power?". She nodded and her arms turned completely black as she breathed out. She then looked up with confidence as her eyes turned completely black with her blue being slightly brighter. She also gained 2 more sets of arms and when she moved the hair away from her other eye, six more appeared there.

"As you may have guessed," She said looking over the awestruck students. "I'm also a demon, except instead of all that flashy bullshit my power is like that of a spider. It's pretty easy to guess once you've known me long enough. Regarding the lesson, just like a muscle I can train and hone my power. However," She said changing back to normal. "That muscle can get overworked if you stress it too much. It can also have a backlash or side effect depending on the power.".

Widow then sat back down and much to the surprise of Aaron and Chloe some of the students recoiled slightly. Guess she must have been pretty intimidating. Who would think somebody so cute, small, quiet, and friendly could get so.... Intimidating.

A few hours from then they were in PE, so no way something bad could happen right? Wrong. Because this, was Wednesday. Which meant that instead of their normal PE teacher. "Alright kiddos! Today we'll be doing a little game of dodge ball. MY style.". It was Chloe's father. "Now as some of you may know, my version of this game is simple. I have a good arm here, if I have 3 bags worth of dodge balls, how long would it take to clear out this whole classroom?".

All the students started running as soon as he said "Let's find out!". As everyone was running around widow activated her power and caught some of the balls, throwing them back. Aaron was busy looking for Chloe, and Chloe was busy avoiding dodge balls. This was when she ten got two crimson colored horns on her head and started to launch dodge balls back at him.

As balls were flying so was Aaron, and it was easier for him to dodge in the air where he had more room. He then looked around and said "Now where is that white demon?". He then felt something hit one of his wings and he went tumbling down to earth. Right before he hit the ground he was caught.... by his target. "Thank-" Chloe drops him and walks away saying "That was a one time thing you're royal selfishness.".

It was the end of the school day and Chloe was busy helping Widow get ready to record a video. They were almost ready when Aaron flew over exhausted and buckled over saying. "B- by the name of *wheeze* the royal- g- give me a second." He said still trying to catch his breath. "As I was saying. I demand you to tell me your power!". Widow started recording them and Chloe said "Oh! I am truly honored by your request but how about you go royally suck one?".

He looked baffled at that but she didn't stop there. "I'm so sick of you royals! Always thinking that you can do whatever you want, just because you got some special lineage!".

"Well at least," He said with his wings coming out. "We aren't wasting our time messing around chasing some lowly criminals. When WE are actually running things!". By this point people were crowding around with their phones out. "Good thing I'm not a royal, you filthy sword swinging, lady taking, pea brained asshole!".

Chloe's eyes had turned completely black with the red in them becoming a deep crimson, and Aaron's had turned completely silver with black pupils. "At least I'm not some lowly demon scumbag that thinks she can control everything!". Chloe then got a long thin white tail with a red diamond tip.

".... Okay. YOUR HIGHNESS!" She said with a crimson colored energy turning into a scythe behind her as she narrowly missed one of his wings. "OH YOU BITCH!" He said pulling out his sword. They then started to trade blows constantly with their weapons as people backed away to avoid getting sliced in two. Flashes of red and silver kept going as Chloe sped up and with her scythe in the ground, flung rocks at him.

"I thought you were supposed to be a prince?! How WEAK can you get-" She didn't even get to finish her words as a silver slice of energy went right past her grazing her cheek as it went by. "Less talking, more fighting!" He said as he kept sending them her way. As he watched her movement she moved so fast a trail of red came from her eyes as she ran around him.

The two teenagers clashed weapons once more and they both snapped in two. They looked down at their weapons and simultaneously dropped them channeling energy into their fist. A fist fight broke out between the two and right as they were about to go and it again, what looked like pale brown chains wrapped around the two and their powers stopped.

Having their fight and powers depleted, they both fell to the ground glaring at each other as they fell unconscious.

In a hospital not far, two separate rooms on two different floors were lit. On the first was where the demon was.

"OWWWWW!!!!". Chloe sat up slowly and tried to make sense of her surroundings. "That asshole put me in the hospital. God! Dad's.... Gonna kill me....".

Meanwhile with the prince.

"AHHHHH!!!!". Aaron said sitting up looking around. "That little bitch put me in the hospital. Gods! Mom's.... Gonna rip my wings off....".
