Kai's veins soon turned black and bulged out of his neck and the rest of his body, making him feel as if lava was flowing inside his body.

He fell back onto the branch and felt a pain that threw him out of consciousness for a few seconds then the pain itself woke him up, Kai was not sure if the membrane around his heart would be able to handle it too.

After feeling this pain for a couple dozen seconds, when the poison had mixed almost all over his body the membrane finally began to suck the poison inside it, but since the poison was more in quantity this time and was also more lethal so it was taking more time.

Around ten or so minutes later, all the poison was sucked inside the membrane Kai was panting heavily but he was finally relieved of all the pain that he was feeling though it was just the first half of the process.
