The following day was a much more nerve wracking occasion. It was coronation day. Beatrice and William only had last night to enjoy one another. He left her before the sun rose. Clancy and her ladies in waiting came in shortly after.
It took hours to prepare her perfectly for the ceremony that was going to change her life forever. Flashbacks of the negative things her sister, Adelaide had said to her, came to her mind she was weak and inexperienced as well as uneducated. Was she right? She was barely in her 20s and still hadn't been outside of the castle walls.
"Your Highness, are you alright?" Clancy asked, sensing a change in Beatrice.
"Yes, I am fine." She lied.
"You're so quiet today, Your highness."
