Thane's phone rang in Gilbert's hand, but that was the last thing that caught his attention.

"Doctor! Inflammation levels are rising!"

"The stem cells implanted are rejecting his tissues!"

"The lung damage is-"

Gilbert stared through the glass with fear in his eyes as the doctors and nurses set to work on Thane, crowding the I.C.U.

He silenced the phone and shoved it in his pocket, focusing on the young master, hoping that he could get through the night safely.

Brooke's countenance fell when she tried calling Thane two more times but he didn't respond. When asked to dinner, she insisted she was full and retired early to sleep.

She laid on her bed, and decided to log into her socials, to see what was happening currently to take her mind off Thane.
