The Quest

Ezra came out of the destroyed corridor room wall, lying down and groaning in pain was Layla and her teammates. Erza didn't notice the attention from the other campers, he didn't even know what just happened. But he was also in pain.

Everyone else was amazed with what they just witnessed, Layla and her friends just flew through the wall that was something that no one can understand nor explain even if they wanted too. Angels came running to check up on the campers on the ground.

"What happened Layla?" The angel checking on Layla and her team.

"I don't know, but something pushed us through the wall" Layla grunting in pain.

The angel called for backup, looks directly at Ezra who was now bleeding through his white t-shirt. The angel noticed that

"What happened to you?" The angel asked.

"Oh nothing serious" Ezra checked himself.

"You too come with me" the angel ordered Ezra.

"It's okay I'm fine" Ezra flinching in pain.

"Ezra it's not up for debate" the angel said.

Ezra and the rest of the injured were now admitted in the infirmary, Layla and the others were lying flat. The angel came to check up on Ezra, she took off his t-shirt.

"Wanna tell me what really happened" cleaning Ezra's wounds that were rope marks surrounding his entire stomach and bleeding.

"Would you believe me if I said I'm not even sure" Ezra embarrassed.

"You know I don't think you are as bad as they treat you, yes you are different but I believe that even thou you are different. It's all paer of his major mysterious unknown plan" the angel bandages Ezra's wounds.

"Thanks" Ezra appreciated.

Ezra gets off the bed, looks at Layla and her unconscious team "will they be okay?" he sounded concerned. "Oh yeah they are just sleeping, nothing serious" the angel replied. Ezra was relieved to hear that and he walked away.

"Where do you think you are going?" The angel called.

"I'm all better now so I'm going to my room" Ezra answered.

"But you don't have a room remember? It was destroyed" the angel reminded him.

"Oh yeah right" he remembered.

"Don't worry you can crash here while your room gets rebuild again" the angel suggested.

"Thank you uh" Ezra said.

"My name is Delilah, angel Delilah" Delilah introduced herself.

"Nice to meet you Delilah" Ezra shook Delilah's hand and went back to his bed.

In the afternoon while he was still asleep something came in a shadowy figure, it was huge the size of a giant or kraken. Whatever it was it was hissing.

"You should come and see me, I have a message for you from the one who will bless you" the shadowy figure hissed.

Just as Ezra was going to take part in the conversation, something interrupted him there was a noise coming from behind him.

"You think he's still alive?" Ezra opened his eyes he couldn't see who was asking that question.

But finally he came back to reality and to his surprise when he woke up, he found all his teammates by his bedside. Bearing gifts and get well soon cards.

"So you finally awake, huh Bringer" Damian eating the fruits out of a bowl meant for Ezra.

"What are you guys doing here?" Ezra curious.

"We came to check up on you, you had us worried" Sarah all teary.

"Plus you wrecked our wall, so we had to make sure you are still alive so you'd pay" Valkyria said.

"I thought you guys hated me like the rest does" Ezra said.

"No we don't hate you Ezra it's just that we don't know what to say to you, that's all" Jason commented.

"Is that so?" Ezra didn't believe him.

"Yeah sure" everyone except Valkyria agreed.

Everyone looked at Valkyria, "what I'm here, aren't I?" She said.

The team hung around together for a while, they were talking and laughing. Then Ezra explained what happened to him while he was in his room, he told them what Layla and her team did. But he didn't tell them what happened right after that.

They were having a nice time together and that was a first, Ezra began to feel dizzy. He couldn't see clearly at all, he was woozing around.

"Hey Ezra, are you okay buddy?" Jason notices.

Ezra just goes fell asleep, his team called for help and the angels come to check up on him, by taking his temperature only to discover he was burning up and so was his scar bleeding through the bandage. Luckily they managed to sedate him and he rested.

While he was sleeping the same dream that occured before, occured again same as the last dream.

"Come now we have to talk" the shadowy figure called him.

Ezra woke up from his bed and started walking towards the infirmary exit door, he didn't know what he was doing, he was sleeping walking. He walked outside and it was already nighttime, he went in some strange woods. When he arrived there, there was a big old tree there. He woke up.

Curious on how did he get here, he looked back Ezra saw nothing. Everything was woods and grass, something came out of the tree it was a big serpent snake. Black in color with green eyes. It circled around Ezra.

"So you are the one who helped me earlier and you were the one who called me?" Ezra looked straight at the snake's eyes.

"My name is Nāḥāš and I'm the messager of the one who will bless you" Nāḥāš hissed.

"Okay so where is he?" Ezra asked.

"He awaits for you in the city of the wicked, he's anxious to see you" Nāḥāš said.

"Are you going to tell me the name of the city or you'll tell me riddles?" Ezra asked.

"You shall go to the city of the wicked and you shall seek the angel who's sit was empty in the Hall of Angels and you shall not tell or seek anyone's help, you shall make it in time for the danger that is lurking in the Holy Place. That shall be your quest" Nāḥāš dropped ended with that riddle and went back inside the old tree and the hole closed.
