The Newly Chosen

Ezra woke up in the infirmary only to discover that he wasn't really alone, there were a lot of new people next to him, people he'd never seen before. All of them had one thing in common, all of them woke up and complained about their head.

"Ouch my head hurts so much" a girl said.

"It's like I head-butted a truck with my forehead" a boy touched his head.

Seemed like everyone was to focus on their aching headaches, they didn't even see everything else around them. See, what had happened was these new young people along with Ezra, did actually stuffer a non-ending and unbearable pain that is called a calling.

A calling was a summoning by God to those who are spiritually gifted people, who were chosen by God himself. And that unbearable clashing sound of the tablets was actually their summoning tune.

Not all of them were fully awaken others it seemed like the call was too much because, they were still unconscious and in a coma. Angels were taking care of them, actually everyone in that infirmary had their own angel looking after them.

Jacob came and greeted them " well hello there, it's nice to see you guys awake now I know you have so many questions. If you don't mind please get dressed your clothes are by your bedside and when you are done. Please join me" then he left the room.

None of them retaliated and freaked out, actually they just looked at him and then that's when they noticed each other's presence in the infirmary.

The angels helping them handed them their clothes and they got dressed, their uniform was a long-sleeve UV light protection white jacket and their pants were white cargo pants that was for boys and for girls also a long-sleeve UV light protection white jacket that was long enough to be a dress and they wore black cargo pants. With a golden wings logos on their back, all of them.

Then they went outside and followed Jacob, those who haven't been here all saw the beautiful holy place, beautiful in both gold and white color. Big angel's statues all playing different musical instruments.

"Whoa" They couldn't believe what they were seeing.

Jacob was waiting for them who was still in his tunic and sandals.

"You made it, great. Now let us walk" he asked.

All of them walked behind him for girls this strange angel-like looking beautiful man was a talk for them, yes they didn't know each other but something else had taken over them. Their spiritual side was dominating than their human side, so in simple short words their human side was asleep.

They followed Jacob who was taking them somewhere, he took them to a mountain and when they got there another man was waiting for them and that man was Moses.

"Welcome children of God, my name is Moses and welcome to Mt. Sinai" he said.

Moses was by the end of the mountain and he was actually kneeling down, praying and the funny thing was that he didn't have to get up and see who were behind him. He just knew.

"How did he know that we were here?" One boy in the crowd asked.

"Yeah it's not like we are wearing our shoes we left them in some place" A girl said.

"Altar" Moses said.

"Excuse me?" The girl asked.

"The place you left them is called an altar and I don't need to hear your footsteps to know that you are here, all I need is your spiritual presence" Moses stood up and faced Jacob and the kids.

With him he was carrying both golden tablets.

"Thank you children for joining me like I've introduced myself before, my name is Moses" Moses reintroduced himself.

"Where are we and what are we doing here?" Ezra asked.

"Well, well, well nice to see you feeling all better Ezra, this my young friends is Mt. Sinai. This is where you will be initiated" Moses replied.

Everyone else in the group turned their attention to Ezra even though they didn't know him, let alone know his face. But for some strange reason they just knew who he was. And he was left in embarrassment with all these eyes looking at him.

"Okay enough of that let's get started, shall we?" Jacob going to join Moses who was standing at the end of the mountain.

Moses hands him one half of the tablet.

"Okay when we call out your names, the people we are going to call who are the last four will be your teammates, alright?" Jacob said.

Many names were called like Layla Blue, Gordon James, Katy Wilde, David Burner and Jefferson McCall and other people like Ben Benjamin, Alura Heather, Jake Flowers, Nancy Story and Zack Rose that's another team that both Moses and Jacob called out.

"Okay now to our final names to call" Moses informed them.

"Ezra Bringer, Jason Moore, Sarah Waterfall, Damian Shaw and last but not least Valkyria Argent" Jacob called them.

"Those who were just called please come forward" Moses asked.

The first person to come out was Valkyria, behind her was Damian Shaw, followed by Jason Moore, then Sarah Waterfall and the last person to come forward was Ezra Bringer. Who by the looks of it wasn't feeling comfortable with being in the out, like this.

"The group you are chosen with will be the same group that you'll take your first test with and not only that but if you survive tomorrow then they'll be your group who you will fight with when you go to war" Jacob informed them.

"But we still don't know what we will be fighting, we don't know anything" Damian said.

"Don't worry Damian son, pass tomorrow's test then you will know the whole truth" Moses assured him.

"Truth that is so important that you really have to know before it's too late, because something bad has happened and something even worse is about to happen" Jacob sounded so serious.
