She Done It

After the mysterious disappearance of Gordon and many more others, everyone in the Holy Place looked at Ezra like he was the one who was at fault.

How certain can we be that he's not the one who does this?" A girl in the crowd whispered to her friend.

"You are right he's the reject after all, the one who was wrongfully gifted" the girl whispered back.

Murmurs began to arise in the crowd everyone had something to say about Ezra and it wasn't good, even though Ezra just saved all of their butts they still treated him with disrespect and hatred. Their hatred so much it clouded their judgement, they forgot about their fallen comrades and just pinned it all to him.

Layla stands up so furious and sad at the same time she just ran to Ezra and punched him, then pushed him to the ground.

"What did you do to Gor? Where is he?!" She took Ezra's sword of the ground and pointed him with it.

"Hey! He just told you that we should find her whoever she is she knows" Jason ran to stand between Ezra and Layla.

Layla is hesitate to back down she isn't sure what do to, she looks at everyone else she sees how everybody is looking at her. With sorrow and sadness Layla breaks down and cries.

"Are you okay buddy?" Jason helps Ezra up.

"Yeah thanks it's like you always know when to save me" Ezra said.

Ezra walks to Layla who was holding the sword tight, Ezra kneeled down and took the sword from her but she wasn't letting it go easily"it's okay I know who did it, you can let go now" Ezra releases Layla's hand from the sword. She finally let's go.

"So you think you know who done this horror?" Solomon not sure if he should trust Ezra.

"Yes and if you all keep blocking me you are buying her more time to escape" Ezra takes his sword and puts it behind him.

"You better not be lying to us Bringer" Valkyria said.

"It's nice to see you too Val" Ezra smiles.

The crowd step aside to create a parth that Ezra can pass through, Solomon doesn't trust Ezra he believes that most of this is his fault if not he's the mastermind behind this so he goes with him and so do the rest of his teammates and the rest follow.

They enter the infirmary only to see that almost everything is destroyed and in ruins the beds are turned upside down, the bed sheets are torn and other bed sheets are covered in blood.

"What the hell happened here?" Damian walking behind Layla using her as a shield.

Layla gives him this look which after a couple of weeks together he and the others are now familiar with it and understand it's meaning. He steps back" sorry" and goes behind Jason.

They don't see anyone else here apart from them, Solomon pushes the others aside and goes to Ezra.

"There's no one here, you sent us on a wild goose chase!" Solomon holding Ezra so high with his hands against his clothes.

Ezra just looks at him and does nothing Solomon puts him down, then while everyone was still startled with what Solomon just did to Ezra. Something came flying in their direction it was a file cabinet.

"Everybody look out!" Damian warned.

People pushed each other to the exact direction that was coming their way, everyone else pushed Valkyria in front of them and used her as a shield. She just stood there frozen with fear, Ezra swopt in and cut the cabinet into two pieces and went in different directions. To everyone's surprise Ezra was now holding Valkyria's waist, just looking it at each other.

"Are you okay?" Ezra asked.

"I'm fine you didn't have to do all that" Valkyria pushed herself away from Ezra.

Solomon saw someone running away.

"There she is!" He shouted.

He was the first person to run after that person and the others followed, they followed Solomon who was way gone no one saw where he even went. Ezra saw the door opened at the file room when they got there Solomon was lying on the ground in pain.

"She done it" He points at far ahead.

"The rest of you stay behind and watch over him, you guys are coming with me" Ezra ordered.

Ezra, Valkyria, Jason, Sarah and Damian all went with Ezra to figure out who this mysterious woman was to their shock the person they found was Delilah sitting by the corner all helpless and traumatized.

Damian and Jason run to assist her.

"Thank you" she gets up.

"What happened?" Damian asked.

"I don't know all I remember is running for cover when the invasion started and streaks of black lightning were now striking everywhere here then a man came after me" Delilah shaken by this.

Damian and Jason help her to get sitted she's shaking and shows the signs of a person who just went through a lot, they hand her a glass of water.

"Thank you" Delilah's shaking.

"Who really put you up to all this?" Ezra asked.

"What?" Delilah confused.

"Who put you up to this Delilah because nothing happened to you, because the same streaks of lightning couldn't get here even if they dared so someone opened the windows and broke them, and as for a man who came after you it's either he had the key or he's just one of the lightning streaks because there's no force of entry anywhere which means one thing" Ezra said.

"What?" Delilah stares at Ezra with murderous intent.

"You are lying" Ezra so confident.

"Ezra what do you think you are doing?" Jason asked.

"Yes it's not the right time to play the mysterious detective look at her she's shaking" Damian said.

"How did you know?" Delilah stops shaking and puts the glass of water aside. She gets up.

Delilah has now changed into something.
