Sol Vs Lukas {3}

Boom!

Both sides shot toward each other and Lukas threw the first punch, however, Sol tilted to the left to dodge the punch before painting his fist into Lukas's face.

A mild shockwave erupted from the two upon collision but to Sol's greatest surprise, Lukas wasn't even moved, neither did his face shift nor jerk back due to the attack.

Sol looked up to meet, Lukas standing tall with his crimson-red eyes looking down on him.

Pa!

Before Sol could react, Lukas grabbed him by the collar and pulled him in for a headbutt.

Bam!

Sol's vision shook upon collision and his legs felt weak. His eyes widened in shock while his body shivered greatly.

Bam!

Lukas pulled him in again for another headbutt, and this time Sol's legs crumbled. He was only standing because Lukas was holding him up, and his vision was badly blurred. He could feel warm liquid roll down his forehead and part ways upon reaching his nostrils.

The difference in physical attributes was just too much!

But was the Demon general, Yaka truly weaker than a dragon or is it simply because he could not harness much of its power?

Regardless, Sol knew one more headbutt would put him to sleep and when that happens, he was as good as dead.

He felt Lukas pulling him in again and with great effort, he screamed the word.

"Hak!"

Boom!

A powerful shockwave of Dark green flames erupted from his body, sending Lukas hurling back until he struck the wall at the far end of the room.

The hellfire ravaged his flowing robes, revealing his chest covered by thick crimson dragon scales. Even with the dragon scale on, Lukas looked pale and hurt. It seemed that the hellfire dealt far more than physical damage.

Sol, who was on his knees, tried to pull himself up and noticed something on the ground. It was a mesmerizing pendant crafted with exquisite precision and imbued with ancient writings.

At its heart was a multifaceted crystal, reminiscent of a miniature prism, with each facet reflecting and refracting light in a mesmerizing dance of colors. The crystal was encased within a delicate silver filigree setting, intricately wrought with arcane symbols and patterns that seemed to pulse with hidden energy.

Lukas was quick to notice the pendant and quickly placed his hands over his collarbone as if in search of something. His astonished gaze shifted to the pendant again before moving to Sol.

A brief silence existed between the two, but it was enough for Sol to realize that this must be something important!

[Time left: 2:16]

His eyes glanced at the timer and he frowned. It was clear he had little time left, and to make matters worse the sack of cultivation materials was burning away, consumed and tainted by his hellfire.

Without that, his journey here was a waste, however, this also meant that Lukas' cultivation would be slowed down, and it would take a bit longer for him to leap into the tier two rank.

Since Sol had no intentions of walking out of this place empty-handed, he was left with only one option.

Swoosh!

Sol grabbed the pendant and quickly took off as he dashed in the direction of the exit.

"You!" Lukas growled as forced himself up and shot towards Sol with a crazed look in his eyes. He had lost the graceful demeanor he once had.

"I guess i hit the jackpot…" Sol commented with a smug look on his face.

Without hesitation, he turned around and slid out of the room while a torrent of hellfire sped towards Lukas. Seeing this, Lukas' body exploded into a body of smoke and from it, an eagle emerged and shot above the fiery attack while racing in Sol's direction.

"He can also possess the abilities of an animorph?" Sol muttered in shock.

Who the hell would give someone the ability to transform and wield the powers of all the beast races but can also transform into animals, objects, and people?

Are the heavens mad?

Sol pushed his thoughts aside and charged in the direction of the exit, while the sound of a furious eagle's cries reached his ears.

Buzz!

The eagle exploded into a body of smoke as soon as appeared above Sol and from it an ogre emerged with its hands clasped to form a hammer fist that descended from above like a bolt of lightning.

Boom!

The cave shook and a cloud of dust rose upon collision.

Swoosh!

Sol emerged from the cloud of dust with a side flip, and a towering ogre chased after him with its fist swung forward.

"Shit!" Sol gasped as he was yet to recover his balance. With no choice, he crossed his arms over his face and braced himself for impact.

Boom!

Sol

It felt like he had been hit by a truck and was sent hurling back. He hit the ground and rolled a couple of times before stopping.

"I am actually getting my ass whooped here," Sol muttered in shock.

Thud!

Heavy footsteps of the ogre charging in his direction snapped him out of his thoughts, and he quickly looked at the timer.

[Time left: 1:19]

"Fuck my life," Sol cursed as his palms and fir exploded with fire that propelled him forward as he ignored the troll charging forward from behind.

Bam.

The push was temporary, and soon Sol was forced to keep running on his feet. Compared to the troll, Sol was slightly faster and was able to improve the distance between them with each passing moment.

"YOU ARE NOT GETTING AWAY!" Lukas' furious cry reverberated across the cave as his body morphed once more, taking the form of a massive rhino that was just inches away from filling the cave.

The rumbling of the ground became louder and more intense as Sol ran, but he didn't look back, especially since he knew only death awaited him.

His gaze was pinned at the bright light at the end of the tunnel, but the closer he got to it, the closer death came to him. Without being told, Sol knew Lukas was almost upon him, and it was clear he would be caught before he made it out!
