Instructor Ethan

Entering the room, Sol was immediately struck by the fusion of academic tradition and a touch of unconventional flair. The space mirrors the layout of a typical university classroom but takes a surprising departure at the front. Instead of the customary elevated podium, a wide and expansive arena sprawls across the lower level where the lecturer traditionally stands.

The arena is sunken into the floor, creating a sense of immersion for both the lecturer and the students. Surrounding the sunken arena are tiered seating arrangements, reminiscent of a lecture hall, where students can comfortably observe and participate in the unfolding academic discourse. The seats are equipped with integrated desks, providing a space for note-taking and collaborative discussions.

The walls of the room are adorned with supernatural murals, celebrating the unique alpha races gathered together to make up the class. Large windows on one side allow natural light to pour in, creating a vibrant atmosphere that complements the intellectual energy of the space.

"Wow…" Sol was taken aback by the sight, unsure of how to react to it.

Pa.

However, Sol wasn't allowed to dwell on this thought as Kevin pointed towards the front roll seats, which most people avoided.

"Hey, let's sit over there," he said with excitement in his eyes.

Personally, Sol would have preferred to stay somewhere in the middle but seeing the excitement in the eyes of his friend, he chose to go along with his plan. Under the questioning gaze of many, Sol and Kevin made their way toward their seats. From Sol's experience in the schools on earth, after fainting a day ago and becoming friends with an omega, he has given people enough reason to try and bully him, but strangely none dared to act recklessly in his presence. They could only ignore him and act like he doesn't exist.

"It seems a person's background and lineage is taken very seriously in this world. Their resentment for me exists, but they dare not show it." He muttered while lost in thought.

At that moment, the light penetrating the classroom through the windows deemed as a fierce wind began to blow. Leaves, twigs, and sad could be seen surrounding the class, causing panic among students as they ran up to the windows to view the spectacular event.

Suddenly, the light within the room began to fade while darkness began encroaching. It felt like the room was getting robbed of its light, creating fear in the hearts of students. Observing what was happening in silence, Sol noticed vampire students were excited as if they knew what was going on.

While observing the reactions of various students, Sol's gaze clashed with that of the stunning vampire girl who seemed unfazed by everything that was going on, showing neither excitement nor fear. The icy vibe she gave off complimented her frosty gaze pinned on Sol as if she was trying to see through his body and deep into his soul.

Unfazed by the look in her eyes, Sol's gaze remained pinned on her as well, the confidence of a billionaire visible in his eyes.

"What the hell?" He muttered.

With each second passing, Sol felt like he was falling deeper into the darkness of her eyes, but his mental fortitude was enough to prevent him from falling deeply

Bam.

Suddenly, the doors and windows yanked open as black fog surged into the room, shooting towards the arena below. Students who stood at the windows were knocked over but promptly got to their feet since they were unhurt by this.

The sudden arrival of the black fog was enough to pull Sol's attention away from Katherine and down to the arena, where the dark fog gathered and began taking a human form.

As soon as the black fog vanished, a man with shoulder-length flowing black hair could be seen standing. He had an oval face with deadly pale skin and long eyelashes which complimented his blood-red eyes. The man wore a black suit with a red tie, and his black nails were long enough to catch Sol's attention, but what bothered him the most was the black lips of the man, making him wonder if the man was born this way or he applies something to make his lips black.

Ethan wore a playful look on his face as he glanced through the shocked students, but his gaze halted at Katherine. In a respectful gesture, he lightly bowed in her direction, but Katherine had no positive response to this. From the looks of it, she felt offended by his show of respect, but Ethan didn't seem to care.

His playful gaze moved past her and fell on Sol, only then did the smile on his face vanish, replaced with shock. Sol was used to this, but for some reason, he felt uncomfortable just being in this man's line of sight. For a moment, he felt the world turn black, leaving behind just him and a massive King Boa.

In response to this, Sol frowned and clutched his fist. Sol has always believed in the saying, 'The battle is only lost when you show your back to the enemy'. In the presence of something so scary, he refused to run, he refused to show his back!

"This man is dangerous!" Sol muttered, his face filled with beads of sweat, but his gaze never avoided Instructor Ethan's eyes.

Clap.

Instructor Ethan began clapping with a bright grin on his face, dispelling the pressure and returning Sol to the real world. Only then did Sol realize he was standing, his cloth soaked with sweat and his nails had dug deep into his palms, causing them to bleed.

"Impressive! You truly have the heart of a warrior!" Instructor Ethan laughed. "As expected of someone capable of surviving the Immortal blood-shattering seal."
