I Win

The class fell into an odd silence as they gazed at Sol's unmoving body with shock in their eyes. When was the last time a being of a lower bloodline dared to harm an heir of an alpha family?

Kevin covered his mouth with both hands while looking at the bloodied Sol in shock. While he and the instructor sounded unfriendly when speaking with each other, he never expected she would attack him.

This is unheard of!

"I… I…" Dorothy was left speechless.

She didn't know how it happened, neither did she have the intention of harming Sol. Her target was Lyra, but somehow Sol found his way in front of her, by then it was too late to stop herself.

"You dare harm?" Sol's feeble voice rang like a bell, echoing at the edges of the classroom. "Has the Ark family fallen so low that a mere beta can put her hands on an heir?"

"No... I didn't…" Dorothy muttered. "You got in my way…"

Unknown to her, Sol's words were not meant for her, but for the students behind her. Soon, the Ark students stood up in fury, unwilling to sit and watch them getting disrespected. The class turned rowdy in mere seconds as hundreds of students began to air their opinions on the matter.

"Young master, it was a mistake!" Dorothy turned to look at Derek had his head lowered, and his hand wrapped across his chest. Even he knew this was not a matter he could get involved in.

At this moment, Dorothy felt like she was in the center of the room, and the judgmental eyes of every one were pinned on her. Confusion and fear crept deep into her mind, driving her crazy as she looked around with a deadly pale face. However, her gaze fell on Sol, who was still seated, and she noticed a cunning smile on his face.

Buzz.

This smile was something she had seen repeatedly since the class started, but had always ignored it. Right from when he walked up the stage and asked her why all the instructors had chosen to bully him, to when he stepped in her way when she charged at Lyra.

That smile has always been there, only appearing when he had executed a good part of his plan.

Sol's eyes let out a red flash as he whispered some words only audible to him and Dorothy.

"I win…"

From the moment he got close to Dorothy, throwing taunts and jabs, he knew she was hot-tempered. However, his status was enough to terrify her, that way he was certain she would never act against him directly. The only way he could make her strike is if the embarrassing event came from someone of a lesser bloodline.

While he never anticipated Lyra would be the one to make Instructor Dorothy make a mistake, he still found the outcome acceptable.

Buzz!

"I'll kill you!" Dorothy exploded in rage as her bloodlust surged violently, catching the attention of the class.

Harming an heir in Aetheria was no small crime, many would say death was mercy. Seeing that Sol had purposefully set her up, it was clear he did this intending to put an end to her. Rather than getting abandoned by her people and suffering a gruesome faith, she concluded it was best to kill Sol now, exerting her revenge after which she planned to take her life.

"Stupid dog… You won't get the chance." Sol grinned crazily.

Bang!

"We will see about that!" Instructor Dorothy growled as she lunged toward Sol.

"YOU DARE ATTEMPT TO TAKE THE LIFE OF MY YOUNG MASTER?" A furious bellow shook the class. "NOT EVEN THE FOUR FAMILIES WILL SAVE YOU FROM ME!"

A comet of flame burst into the room, shooting through the room at an incredible speed. In an instant, it reached Dorothy before she could reach Sol, both of them racing towards Sol.

"Ren: Fiery Fist!"

The furious voice roared as the entire comet of fire began surging to his fist, revealing the figure of the man. With a fist surging dangerously with fierce flames, the man punched forward ruthlessly.

"Die, You wretched dog!"

Seeing this, Dorothy frowned, knowing she had lost the opportunity to kill Sol.

"Ren: Partial transformation!"

Directing all her power into her hands, both hands expanded and got covered with gray fur as it transformed into the hand of a werewolf, even though the rest of her body remained the same. Dorothy crossed her hands over her face, using it as a shield, daring to take the attack head-on.

Bang!

"Ah!" Dorothy grunted in pain as she was thrown back a few meters by the fierce ball of flames.

Thud!

Her legs hit the ground, skidding backward for a while and covering about a few meters before she finally stopped. A part of the gray fur on her transformed hands had turned black, completely scorched.

Meanwhile, a middle-aged figure gracefully descended next to Sol. He had a muscular build and was about six feet tall, with a thick mustache and buzz-cut hairstyle. The man was dressed in flowing orange robes, similar to the one Apollo Ark always wore in the few images and sculptures of him.

[Name: Kane Ark]

[Tier: Two]

[Race: Ark][Branch family]

[Race Tier: Alpha]

[Type: Ru-Destros]

[Title: Ark Family Instructor]

[Condition: Perfect condition]

[Status: Furious]

People in this world are supernatural beings with enhanced capabilities in terms of perception. The last smile he flashed was meant to push Dorothy into blind rage the moment she understood his intentions, and it worked. Her killing intent would put every instructor on high alert and make them act faster, but he never expected an Ark family instructor would be the first to respond to his call.

'In the end, none of that matters. Dorothy is a dead person.' Sol chuckled in his mind.

The moment she directed her killing intent at an heir, she lost all the chances to get out of this situation alive. Even if a vampire, witch, or werewolf race instructor was here, Sol was certain the instructor would also attempt to kill or suppress Dorothy.
