Chapter six

Catherine gets use to working with the Kingsley and has gotten to know them better after few months. She no longer feels uneasy with Sebastien. In fact she likes it better because she does not gets to clean all his room. Only parts he instructs her to. 

He seldoms orders her around to get things except on few occasions where he orders for coffee whenever he is on his drawings. Catherine notices he spent most of his time at the window looking at the beautiful sight of the aerial view. 

Michael on the other hand throws parties every weekends. Catherine goes home late during these periods cleaning up after the party.He does not stressed her aside these times. He attends gym classes on weekdays or goes to his friend's house. He barely stays at home.

Both sons are not interested in joining the dad's company despite finishing school at a young age, during the time Catherine was considering the best online institution to attend.

 Sebastien plans to open an art gallery to honour his mum. Catherine get to find out from Michael. They both have grown to be pretty close. Catherine finds out Sebastien was from the dad's first marriage and his mum was dead.

Michael wants to be a social media influenza and which he has started growing with the numerous pictures he posts at outings and parties, couples with the facts that they are all expensive ones.

Bianca keeps herself busy also. In the morning, she reads the magazines, talks extensively in the afternoon on video call with friends or her husband whenever he is on business trips . She attend a social gathering every weekend. Catherine founds out where Michael gets his social traits from, definitely his mum.

Mr Jonathan Kingsley is rarely at home, always on business trips or meeting. One of the critical factors discouraging Michael to work in the company. He is not ready to do away with parties for tight business duties. 

 The family eat separately whenever Jonathan is not around. Bianca finds it hard making them eat together.

Catherine gets to use her free time alone in the room allocates to her for resting. She attends to classes during this period. Though she gets to do this only on weekdays. The house almost explodes on weekends due to heavy sounds coming from the party. 

At home, she finds her self jogging to the ice cream shop anytime her mind is occupied with concerns for her mum. Her health keeps deteriorating but pretends to stay strong whenever Catherine is by her side.

Catherine notices this and tries to jog away from the pains of seeing her mum die slowly. She stops whenever she gets to the ice cream shop. She now derives joy watching couples, friends and family together enjoying the taste of ice cream. Now she laughs and turns back home.
