Nathan began to sweat as he listened to the screams coming closer and closer. The words on the walls made less sense than before, and he began to despair.
They were just meaningless scribbles that he had taken the trouble to translate. They contained no information. There was a whole wall to translate, but Nathan didn't bother, some of the letters he already recognized, so he understood at a glance that they were just more nonsense words.
Many words were even repeated, as if the person who had written them had a very limited vocabulary.
In the church, Nathan had tried to learn most of the letters so that he could translate more quickly, which helped, but not enough.
Suddenly the screams had stopped, which only made him worry more.
Where was the boy, was he already in the house, was he getting closer, would closing his eyes help keep him from killing him?
His thoughts spun out of control, he was no longer concentrating on translating, now Nathan was desperately searching for a way to escape.
But it was all in vain as the door collapsed and flew to the other side of the room, brushing dangerously against him.
Nathan didn't hesitate and closed his eyes tightly, squeezing them shut as if he had glue on them.
"You came back to play?"
The boy's voice was normal again, not the demonic voice that had frightened him so. Instead, his voice was completely devoid of emotion, something that frightened him even more.
Nathan gasped as he listened to the boy slowly approach him.
"Why don't you say anything?"
Nathan didn't dare answer.
"Look at me... So, we can play"
Nathan began to tremble.
"Why won't you look at me?"
The boy's voice was right in front of him, even though he was a monster, he still had the body of a child, so this one was a head shorter than him, coming up to chest height.
The boy was strangely quiet, and Nathan could hear his footsteps surrounding him.
"What were you doing?"
Nathan felt a lump in his throat as he tightened his grip on the paper.
"You're hurt"
His arm was still bleeding with no sign of stopping, which made him feel a little tired. But the fear he felt right now made the pain he felt seem insignificant.
"If you look at me, maybe I can help you"
Nathan bit his lips, listening as the boy's voice slowly changed again.
"Answer me"
His whole body was still shaking, even his facial muscles were beginning to tire from the effort of closing his eyes.
"Answer me!"
The boy's cry sent a shiver down Nathan's spine, making him shiver even more than before.
Nathan didn't know what to do, he was terrified and couldn't think of anything else to do but leave this place. But he could see no way do it.
The only thing that relieved him was that what the paper said seemed to be true. The boy hadn't touched him once since he'd closed his eyes.
But all that relief vanished in an instant as he felt icy hands gently grasping his healthy arm.
'What?!'
Nathan screamed inwardly as he felt the boy's touch.
'That wasn't supposed to happen!'
What little peace he felt was gone in an instant.
The boy had somehow managed to touch him, and not only that, he began to pinch the skin all the way down his arm, slowly working his way up to his man and then pinching his neck.
Nathan endured the sting of the pinching, but the boy's icy hands seemed to instill fear into every pore of his body.
Nathan was lost, not knowing what to do, his legs gave out, he fell to the ground and hit his back.
The boy let out a soft laugh and then began to touch Nathan's face. His tense muscles felt the boy's icy touch. Nathan did not understand what he was doing until he felt the boy begin to pull at his eyelids, forcing him to open his eyes.
Nathan was terrified by this, he could bear the pinching because it didn't hurt him... but when he saw that they were trying to open his eyes he finally felt his greatest fear yet.
Nathan understood even more the logic behind the boy's power.
If you didn't look at him, he couldn't hurt you, but that didn't stop him from touching you.
This was something that was not written in the diary, probably because the owner of the diary had never been able to fully prove his theory.
Nathan blindly followed the words written by the pervert without questioning anything. What had brought him to this situation.
The boy's strength grew and the tired muscles in Nathan's face couldn't stand it. His eyelids fluttered open to reveal a pair of eyes as black as the deepest night.
The boy's smile widened horribly, and his hands moved down to Nathan's neck.
Nathan felt the boy's hands begin to tighten around his neck until a few seconds later he began to lose his breath.
Nathan began to move his limbs randomly and kept looking into the boy's eyes. His hands were placed on the boy's thin arms in an attempt to free him, but no matter how hard he tried, he could not break free from the boy's grip.
Suddenly his hands lost strength and fell to the side, his body went completely rigid, and his eyes slowly began to blur until he could see nothing but darkness.
A few seconds before, Nathan had regained his sight and for a few seconds he had been on the verge of death again.
He didn't know how to avoid this death, it was the only time he had ever been in such a precarious situation, so there was only one thing left to try.
With his good arm, he clenched his fist as hard as he could, and with the last bit of strength he had left, he raised his arm and connected his fist with the boy's face.
The boy didn't even flinch, Nathan's fist didn't even move his face. It contained so little force that it was as if a light breeze had hit him.
Nathan lowered his arm again and his vision began to blur again.
His thoughts lost meaning, he stood there waiting to die... but suddenly the grip on his neck loosened and he took the opportunity to take a deep breath.
Confused as to why he was still alive, Nathan looked at the boy, who had a look of surprise and confusion on his face.
'What the...?'
Nathan had lost his breath and was breathing heavily through his mouth. But he didn't care, instead he looked at the reaction of the boy who was holding his face right where Nathan had hit him.
The boy got up and took a few steps back before stumbling and falling to the ground.
Nathan did not understand the boy's reaction but took the opportunity to crawl backwards until his back hit the wall.
The boy began to shake and mumble.
"You hit me..."
His face began to twitch, as if he had worms under his skin.
"No one has ever hit me before..."
Black tears began to form in his eyes.
"You hit me"
The tears spilled over and fell uncontrollably down his face. The boy's body began to move in strange ways, his joints twisting at impossible angles, his face distorted and his skin beginning to turn black.
Nathan watched in complete silence, unaware of what was happening. He was still recovering from the boy's strangulation and his neck hurt terribly, but there was nothing he could do but stand still and wait to see what would happen.
The boy's limbs began to lose their shape, becoming a strange black mass that moved like a worm.
All that remained was his deformed face, which slowly began to lose its shape, but before he lost his mouth, he screamed one last time.
"Don't look at me!"
His face turned into that black mass and all that was left of the boy was a ball of dough on the floor.
The mass began to crawl out of the room, leaving Nathan completely confused.
But his eyes could not take it any longer and lost their focus. Nathan collapsed in the room, completely alone, until a few seconds later his body disappeared from the room, leaving the place completely empty, with only a trail of blood that would remain there forever.

Outside the room, a mass of black slime approached the stairs at a snail's pace. It followed a trail of blood that it slowly wiped away with its body.
When it reached the stairs, the slime began to fall as various lumps appeared on its body.
By the time he reached the first floor, he had a human body again.
But compared to the boy's body, it was now slightly larger. His face was pale, his eyes green and his hair completely white.
Seconds later, the creature disappeared from the house, leaving the living room completely empty again.
