Night

As an armored truck drives down the street, a man wearing a hazmat suit got on top of the roof of the truck with a speaker to announce "This is an important announcement from the world health organization to announce that it is curfew time and all citizens must stay in your homes. If you see anyone infected you must report them and get away from them at all cost." As the armored car was driving down the street two little shadow figures ran behind the truck crossing the street avoiding detection running down an alley.

"That was close I thought we were going to get caught there for a second," says Shadow Figure 1

"Come we still have to run if we are not there before they check the rooms we're done for," says Shadow Figure 2

Both of them continued to run avoiding patrol trucks before making it to the location they were traveling to an orphanage.

"I'll give you a knee up," says Shadow Figure 1

Shadow Figure 1 lifts Shadow Figure 2 up into an open window and after that Shadow Figure 2 pulling Shadow Figure 1 up. They close the window and they both started to change into their sleeping wear. Then from outside of the door, they heard footsteps coming over and the both of them sneaks under a large piece of cloth snickering.

Then the door opened revealing a young nun with short shiny brown hair being 20 years of age holding a lamp.

The nun whispers "Ren, Rena I know that you're awake you need to learn how to be more silent."

The shadow figures remove the cloth off themselves revealing two twin siblings one girl and another a boy both of them had natural white hair and both being ten years of age.

"Sister Lena how did you know that we were awake?" asks Ren

"I heard you two butt heads snickering as soon as I walked around the corner you two are lucky that it was me that found you," replies Sister Lena

"You know that when we get bored we get hyper," says Rena

"So what did you find this time," says Sister Lena

"What do you mean?" asked Ren and Rena

"I already know the two you always go somewhere late in the night that's why I always check your rooms first when it's my turn to patrol just in case," says Sister Lena

"Did you two follow the rules," says Sister Lena

As the two twins got up they replied: "Yes, we didn't go into a contaminated zone and avoid contact with fishy people."

Both Ren and Rena had faces of defeat and went to grab the stuff they had found to show to Sister Lena. They removed three items from there bags. Two books about science and yarn.

"Where did you find this stuff?" says Sister Lena

"We found it in an abandoned bookstore," replies Ren

Sister Lena asks "Why science books and yarn?" says Sister Lena

"The yarn is for me to make to do arts and crafts," says Ren

"The science books are for us to study during free time," says Ren

"What are you two buttheads studying for," says Sister Lena

Ren and Rena reply back cheerful "It's because it's the two of us are going to be the ones that save the world from this disease,"

"That's a good dream it doesn't hurt to dream and I think it's wonderful to have dreams but wouldn't your free time be better to spend playing with the other kids," says Sister Lena

"But the other kids are mean," says Ren

"They always make fun of our hair color calling us old midget's," says Ren

Sister Lena stands up from sitting on the floor and grabbing the three items the two scavenged.

"Ok you two that enough for tonight it's time to go to sleep," says Sister Lena

"Ok" replied Ren and Rena

They both went under their bed covers and Sister Lena says goodnight to the both of them and goes to the corner of the room to place the scavenged items on top of the already huge pile the twins had scavenged before and leaves the room closing the door behind her.

"Ren do you think we're going to be ok," asks Rena

"Of course we are going to be ok I mean we live right outside a globe and the soldier are going to protect us" replies Ren

"I know but what if something bad happens," Rena was cut off by Rens sudden quiet burst quietly saying "Don't jinx us."

"Sorry" sniffs Rena

"I'm sorry too you just have to think positive if you want your future to be bright and everything will be alright I promise," says Ren with a large amount of charisma

"Ok Ren I trust you," said Rena

The twins both slept together in their bed hugging each other that night but not knowing what awaits them the next day. A young boy coughing in an echoed hallway.
