Chapter 2 - Trial

Jas POV

I was swimming until I found the Cyclades in the Aegean Sea.

I rose to the surface as I saw the hut mother was living in.

I jumped on to the beach as I walked in to see mother cooking.

Jas: Mater.

My mother Amphitrite, goddess of the sea, wife of Poseidon.

Amphitrite: My beautiful daughter.

I went and hugged her as I know she misses Father more than anything.

Amphitrite: What brings you by?

Jasmine: Orm has sent a massive wave that almost destroyed the mortals.

Amphitrite: That boy has almost started a war with the mortals.

Jasmine: That's why I'm here, I need father's Trident.

Mother looked surprised by this.

Amphitrite: Are you sure? You must prove you are worthy to hold the Trident, Divine Weapons are not all excepting to anyone.

Jasmine: I am, I'm the daughter of Poseidon & Amphitrite, Future Goddess of the Seas, taking my father's seat as a Olympian.

Amphitrite: Very well, the trial is simple, you must defeat me in combat.

My eyes are wide open, with my powers I could beat her easy but I don't wanna rely on them, just my Sea Powers.

Jasmine: Very well, I accept the Trials.

Amphitrite: Good, will begin at dawn, get some sleep but first dinner.

Mother walked away as she prepared the table while I think of the Trial.
