Chapter 2 swap

It took about 5 more minutes after that for another bat to show up and it was the big boss himself THE BATMAN. As soon as he got here he rushed over to black bat and checked on her before moving to look at me.

after awhile of him just checking for anything or one else he asks "who are you and what do you want" finally looking up from my hand I change to my face for less than a full second and back before I answer "names David and I need your help… well I actually don't but I would very much appreciate it" he takes a second and thinks for a bit (more like waiting for info from oracle) he starts again "what help do you need"

wow he's blunt so far "I just got my powers and they are a lot, the first thing they did is turn me into a sentient virus with perfect biokinesis and evolutionary adaptation and it's not done yet" I can just see his eye widen a fraction before it's gone and he reiterates "what could I do to help" and I actually have to think about that cuz what help do I really need.

"I don't want to do this alone I feel like I'm not qualified to use these powers safely yet and I would like some guidance with them" he nods and turns to black bat who's been just standing there the entire time "go back to the cave I'll be taking him to one of the leagues bases" with that she's gone and he turns back to me "follow me" and we were off.

the trip took about 30 minutes but we finally stopped at what looks like a normal phone booth before he walks in and says to it "Batman Delta-Juliett-Tango-Delta-Charlie 02 override guest David V stark" I'm not even surprised he already knows my name but I wonder what the V means. Walking in after him I ask "so where are we going" before he can answer there's a flash of light a second of weightlessness before we are somewhere else.

After we arrive he answers me "a quarantine base we had made in case of an emergency" after that the door we just walked through slammed shut but I just looked at him sceptically and asked "so does that mean your stuck in here too" he just shakes his head slightly before answering "no my suit is air tight" I deadpanned at his uncovered chin and pointed at it but he just smirks slightly and answers the unasked question 

"It's made to look like that but there is a small layer of air tight plastic made to look completely invisible whilst allowing only sound to pass through it" ok that's smart with all the people that use chemicals in his city.

he gestures at one of the couch's and says "you'll be here for a couple hours until everything is sorted out so just wait and we'll come to a decision about what to do" I just nodded because at the moment there are still people who would wipe the floor with me.

Walking over to the couch I sat down and started trying to cure diseases that I know how to make from Alex's 'memories' while the Batman turned to leave I called out "also could you apologise to black bat for me I didn't mean to spook her" he didn't stop but did nod slightly.

I stopped paying attention to time and didn't notice the clock nearing midnight before suddenly I was back in my body again but with all the things I had learned with Alex's powers like any cures I had made.

Hearing that I whined slightly "aw come on I was almost there" I wasn't really I couldn't make my cells become cancerous because I always had control of them and I couldn't hurt myself"

alright yeah that's pretty good didn't think I would be able to get something so good so quick. Willing my self to become Peter I feel the anti-ock suit start materialising around me I start wondering out loud "could I use other suits" and to answer that a screen pops up infront of me that looks identical to the one from the game.

deciding on my favourite otherwise I would be here all day I look at myself in one of the mirrors. The suit had a nice black main colour with 8 gold strips linking the legs of the gold spider on my chest to my hands, feet and head and gold eyes.

the transfer of knowledge and memory was a lot more painful than last time 'properly because Peter is a super genius' with it over I walk over to the wall and up it "wow this is so cool" and it was who wouldn't want to be Spider-Man.

Whipping my hand over to aim at the other wall I thwip a wep at it and launch my self over the room. I just keep doing that for another hour mixed in with more trying to cure diseases but this time I had managed to actually make progress with Peter's super intelligence.

after being in that room for 4 hours someone finally came to see me, and of cause it was the bat again but this time with the green lantern that I think is Hal but could be Kyle I don't know.

"David this is as you can guess green lantern he's here to make sure you are safe to be around" I wait for him to finish but raise my hand as the lantern starts moving "you don't have to as you can see things have changed" he nods looking at my new suit intently but I continue "my powers randomly changed at 12 and now I'm not an virus I'm instead a mutate" 

batman grunts at me "your powers randomly changed just as we arrived to check if you were safe to be around" he looked sceptical but I just nodded and walked over to the wall closest to me and up it to the ceiling but continued the conversation "yeah lost the biokinesis and other powers but got a bunch more instead" he just looks and me before Turing to the lantern.

"Give him a quick scan" he just nods and raises his ringed hand to me and a stereotypical scanning beam started doing so. After a moment his ring announced "subject mutated human with irradiated arachnid DNA, also traces of unknown energy centred at subject's brain and central nervous system" oh that might mean I'm now a spider totem.

batman just looks at me and sighs lightly "aright it seems you aren't immediately deadly so we will continue this talk in the watchtower" yes I can feels Peter's curiosity boiling to know all about their space station.
