Chapter 247: Cisco and Caitlyn

"H'el, my former collaborator."

In the bright hall, portrayed by the Reverse Flash, Harrison Wells smiled as he introduced his remaining two subordinates:

"He's actually my leader, and we've had a pleasant cooperation. I'm very grateful that he could leave everything behind in Australia and come here to the STAR Labs. He will endure a difficult time here with us."

Harrison Wells's face carried memories of the past and a touch of emotion for H'el's arrival, and his eyes were slightly moist with emotion.

Truly nostalgic for the past, as if it wasn't just yesterday that he was overwhelmed.

The play was really good...

H'el silently praised, smiling at Cisco and Caitlin, greeting them.

H'el had already given orders to the Reverse Flash last night, letting him continue with his plan.

He had already informed him about the future where the Reverse Flash dies; he could do whatever he wanted.

H'el's arrival was solely for the study of Speed Force .

As for the final showdown between the Reverse Flash and the Flash, he wouldn't get too involved.

Regardless of who wins or loses, H'el would achieve satisfactory results in the STAR Labs.

If the Reverse Flash wins and survives, then he would be qualified to replace the Flash as H'el's candidate.

If he loses, then it's regrettable.

He have already told him the outcome; if he still lose, there's nothing he can do.

But as long as he sincerely assists in creating and developing his own Speed Force, H'el promised that even if he loses, he would ensure his survival and prevent him from being erased by time.

The Reverse Flash initially thought that being defeated and becoming a so-called subordinate would make him an exploited slave, but he didn't expect to learn about his future and receive H'el's assurance.

H'el, a capitalist, wasn't competent in his eyes, but he gave the Reverse Flash great dignity and freedom.

What he paid was the Negative Speed Force he had tirelessly researched day and night.

Now he needed to cooperate with H'el again to allow H'el to research his own Speed Force.

H'el's sincerity and his attitude of not caring about his death actually gave the Reverse Flash great confidence in believing that H'el needed him.

Of course, the cunning Reverse Flash wouldn't completely trust him, but would wait to see how things unfold in the future.

After weighing the pros and cons, and with his life and death in H'el's hands, and seeing H'el's sincerity, not using his life and death as a threat but instead letting him know the future of being erased, the Reverse Flash's resistance was not strong.

If H'el really could save him in his final confrontation with the Flash, then everything H'el said about sincerely becoming his subordinate wouldn't be impossible.

But he still wanted to defeat the Flash and return to the future as the Reverse Flash.

Cisco, of shorter stature, with shoulder-length hair, approached H'el with sincerity and eagerness, shaking H'el's hand vigorously, nodding continuously, and thanking him: "Cisco Ramon. In such difficult times, true friendship can be found. The experience in the STAR Lab's will be unforgettable for both you and us. Thank you so much for coming..."

Cisco was somewhat moved.

The Lab now wasn't the prestigious place it was a few months ago before the particle accelerator explosion. It was now classified as a level four danger zone by the federal bureau, with no particle accelerator allowed to be restarted. The area was fenced off like a prison, and the people of Central City regarded the lab with deep aversion. It had become notorious, causing some scientists to leave voluntarily and others to be expelled by Harrison Wells, leaving only himself and Caitlin.

At this moment, being willing to come to the lab and work here for a while, despite the risk of tarnishing their reputation in the scientific community, truly demonstrated genuine friendship in times of hardship.

"Caitlin Snow." Caitlin greeted from the side, her face expressionless as she stared at H'el for a while.

Even Cisco, who was enthusiastically exchanging emotions with H'el, felt that something was very unusual. Suddenly, he understood what Caitlin wanted to say, but it was too late to stop her.

Out of the blue, Caitlin fixed her gaze on H'el and abruptly said, "You can leave your sperm for human research..."

As she spoke, Caitlin pinched a small vial and handed it to H'el.

Honestly, for someone with H'el's appearance, it would be a shame not to have his essence recorded in the human biological database.

In the future, developing clones or conducting in vitro fertilization would have tremendous benefits.

After all, which mother wouldn't want a tall, handsome, and cute child?

From now on, optimizing human genes for nature would have immeasurable benefits.

Cisco's scalp tingled as he quickly covered Caitlin's mouth and dragged her out of the hall, smiling awkwardly at H'el before pulling Caitlin into the corridor, trying to be polite yet discreet.

"Are you crazy? It's our first meeting, leave a good impression on others. I don't want H'el to think we're weird and antisocial just because we're unique." Cisco released Caitlin, spreading his hands in a helpless gesture as he spoke to her.

"I'm just doing my job as a biologist to optimize humanity. My profession doesn't allow me to miss out," Caitlin replied, adjusting her work attire that Cisco had disheveled. Her face remained expressionless and professional.

She truly had no other thoughts.

Caitlin's fiancé had died on the day of the lab's particle accelerator explosion. It was only with the help of Dr. Wells and Cisco's counseling that she could work normally again. She threw herself wholeheartedly into her work, with no time to think about anything else.

Now, seeing H'el's appearance immediately ignited her work spirit.

Such a physique, not leaving any essence for humanity, optimizing humanity, was simply wasteful.

"Hey, he just arrived here. Let him settle in first, okay? Don't rush it. If needed, I'll provide my essence to you," Cisco said.

He had a good impression of H'el. At a glance, he felt that H'el would be a good colleague. He didn't want Caitlin to scare him away and create a gap between them.

Caitlin looked at Cisco with disdain. "No mother would want their child to look like you."

With that, Caitlin strode directly towards the hall.

Cisco stood there dumbfounded, wanting to call out to Caitlin but unable to utter a word. What did she mean by no mother would want their child to look like him? 'I'm the type with inner beauty, you know? My IQ is 180, okay?'

Cisco felt suffocated inwardly, finding it hard to accept Caitlin's blunt truth.

"Your subordinates are quite interesting," H'el remarked as he watched Cisco dragging Caitlin away.

Harrison Wells also smiled, looking towards the entrance of the hall with a hint of satisfaction. "They are capable. They won't disappoint you."

Harrison Wells maneuvered his wheelchair towards the entrance of the hall. "Cisco, Caitlin, prepare the vehicle and biological instruments. We need to go to Central City Hospital to pick up Barry Allen."

Caitlin approached, encountering Harrison Wells and H'el.

H'el courteously nodded and smiled at her.

Caitlin's eyes lit up as she handed the small vial to H'el.

H'el pushed her hand back gently and shook his head.

Caitlin's expression remained unchanged as she withdrew the vial with disappointment in her eyes, finding Cisco, who was suffocating inwardly and wearing a mask of pain, to prepare the vehicle and instruments.
