Chapter 1289: Bat Behind (Middle)_1

Loki, lying on the ground, grit his teeth and raised his head. He flung his hair back to keep it from obstructing his vision, particularly the murderous look in his eyes.

"How many times now, Tony Stark?!" Loki banged his fist on the ground and said, "The only thing you're good for is assaulting a god with your damned industrial waste?"

Shiller stepped forward to help Loki up and said, "If you'd taken on a female form when you came here, you might not have been taken by surprise. After all, our Iron Man tends to show some gentlemanly decorum when it comes to dealing with beautiful women."

Unexpectedly, Loki let out a deep sigh and said, "I've got to avoid incidents like that in the near future. Thor is getting married, but there's this unfounded rumor that Helen is a child that Thor and I had together."

"I've been considering whether or not to invite Hela to the King of Asgard's wedding, but I need to deal with this rumor first. If Hela gets wind of it and transforms into a male to chase after me but I'm too caught up running away and misunderstanding arise with Thor, I'd be in real trouble."

Loki drew his hand from his forehead to the back of his hair and went on, "Besides, there's Baldur. I've been thinking about the best way to present his female form at the wedding to avoid fighting with Hela. Frigga would be overjoyed to have another daughter and would cry tears of happiness. When she's crying, no one can raise a hand, otherwise Odin would beat them to a pulp."

Shiller opened his mouth, intending to comment on the absurdity of the situation in Asgard's house, when Batman interjected, "It's a Norse mythology thing. I'm not worried."

"What do you mean by that?"

"You might want to ask Diana, from your universe. Within the coming years, she'll either be resolving her family's issues or will be on route to dealing with them. The situation on Mount Olympus is much worse."

Loki sighed and continued, "Ah, that's right, there's also Sylvie and the other Lokis, along with Time Variance Authority members. They're all invited."

"Sylvie wants to bring her sister through the Time Variance Authority's portal, but Thor from her universe, who knows her sister was taken by the Time Variance Authority, wouldn't consider cooperating."

"Crocodile Loki is relatively easy to handle. The original plan was to have him wear a skirt as the bridesmaid, but Frigga thought the small crocodile would look better as a bouquet holder- I'm not sure how Crocodile Loki feels about this."

"Old Loki was the only Loki who formally responded to my invitation. He has already returned to his universe. He expressed his desire to come, but it's a shame he can't defeat Thor in his universe, who's growing old. He has over a thousand years of confinement to serve and asked if I could find a way to get him out..."

"Thor has issued a diplomatic notice to that Asgard, suggesting an exchange of World Tree information in order for Old Loki to attend the ceremony..."

"President Loki apparently can't make it, he is occupied with the upcoming elections. According to him, he's pitted against a deceitful real estate mogul with the slogan 'Make America Great Again', which is difficult to beat. So, he needs some time."

"Viking Loki is still here, but Tour de France Loki has returned to compete in the race. Although there is a chance he might come after winning the race."

"The other Lokis have gradually returned to their universes. Of course, some who've committed serious crimes are still in Time Variance Authority prison, it depends on the Asgard of their universe whether they intend to bail them out..."

"I rescind my previous comment." Batman's voice echoed again, "If we're counting parallel universes, your place is even more chaotic."

"But don't forget..." Shiller gloated, "your world has parallel universes too."

"Earth doesn't need another Mount Olympus." Batman said coldly.

"What if they insist on coming?"

"Move Earth out of the way."

Loki paced around the room, mumbling about the various aspects of the royal wedding in Asgard he was presently planning.

Obviously, this is going to be a significant event in Asgard. Not just the residents of this universe but nearly all interstellar civilizations, as well as members of Asgard from other universes contacted by the Time Variance Authority, will come to manage the event. Even Odin from the Animal Universe will pay a personal visit. While this event may sound like a lively affair, it's going to be a hassle to organize.

"Actually, I have a more grandiose concept..." Loki paused, tapping his temple to indicate he was thinking, and then continued his explanation.

"We need an opportunity to showcase the advancements of the nine major civilizations of our universe. There's no doubt that each of our civilizations and races have made significant progress."

Loki waved his finger in mid-air and said, "We could totally hold a grand exhibition! That's it, use Asgard's and the Divine King's wedding as the backdrop, invite a multitude of guests to witness the unprecedented advances in technology, humanities, and art..."
