Chapter: Friend..ship?

Itadori managed to speak to the landlord as he asked him if he had any rooms available for rent. The landlord worried that he would lose his only good renter, as he questioned him if he was asking for a better room? Itadori shook his head as he brought to light about Megumi's situation, the landlord was not too happy hearing another 20 year old being irresponsible about just straight up leaving their parents home. But, he sighed as he told itadori about a room on the floor above him that was available. Itadori smiled as he accepted the offer and told Megumi about the room, soon enough Megumi moved in and began saving money to begin fixing up his apartment.

*Bang Bang Bang Bang*

"Wake up itadori!! We are going to be late for work you ass!!"

*Megumi banged on itadori's door as it swung open with a pissed itadori behind it.*

"I don't work today! And who you calling an Ass! You Black-Porcupine!"

*itadori argued as Megumi stormed inside his apartment and got some casual clothes out of itadori's drawers for him to change into.*

"So what! I'll be bored all night without someone to make fun of! Now hurry up and change! I'm going to be late for work!"

*itadori grumbled as he got changed into the clothes Megumi touched and slammed his door behind him as he walked out behind Megumi grumbling.*

"Why do I have to sacrifice my night off to entertain you? I don't go dragging you out of your apartment and force you to see me slave around…"

"That's because your an idiot, and you entertain yourself with your idiotic self.."

*Megumi smiled to himself as he heard itadori fuzz and whine about how mean he has become in that short time they met.*

They arrived at the liquor store as Megumi sat behind the counter and itadori sat on the floor behind the counter with his arms cross. He managed to fall asleep as Megumi would watch the empty aisles bored.

Megumi sighed as he looked down at itadori and thought of a clever prank. He grabbed a marker as he decided to draw some whiskers on his cheek and then a mustache on his upper lip.

Megumi failed to see the two suspicious thugs that walked in as they went directly behind the aisles of the store to see who was the cashier tonight. They had heard rumors of a pink haired boy who managed to beat up one of their friends who tried robbing the store a few months ago. They decided to rob the store whenever the boy took a day off, but every time they came he was here or was accompanying another worker.

Megumi stood up now as he looked down at his proud art work of graffiti he did on itadori's face making him look like a weird combination of a cat, panda, with a mustache. He smirked as he looked up to see the two customers now as he sat back in his seat to wait for them to come pay.

The two thugs approached the counter now as they brought some old candy bars and sodas. Megumi lifted an eyebrow as he found it strange that two thugs had a sweet tooth this late at night.

"Would this be all sirs?"

*Megumi asked as he scanned the items not trying to depict the customers with a bad assumption.*

"No, give us all the cash in the box now!"

*the man on the left said as the man on the right grabbed Megumi's wrist as he threatened to stab him if he didn't comply.*

"Ha.. I knew two thugs couldn't be out here with a sweet tooth… get your hand off me before I break yours.."

*Megumi threatened as he was about to beat the two guys up before seeing a flash of pink jump over the counter and kicked the man with the knife to the ground behind him.*

"Why you-?! Your that brat that we heard about!!"

*the other man backed away as he saw itadori intimidate him with his silly panda face drawing.*

"Yeah! And I'll kick both of your asses if you don't leave the store now!"

*itadori didn't need to do anything more as the first man stood still but failed to notice the second one getting up and lunged towards him with a knife.*

"Itadori watch out!"

*Megumi jumped the counter as he tried saving itadori, but saw the knife piercing his clothes behind him. Itadori turned not noticing the stab as he punched the man behind him to the ground knocking him unconscious. The knife flew under an aisle as the other thug decided to retreat and abandon his partner.*

"Megumi! Call the cops now, before the other one comes back with his friends.."

*itadori winced as he finally felt the burning stab wound behind his back as Megumi called the police.*

"I'll call the ambulance too, your hurt.."

"No! Don't call the ambulance! Just the cops are fine, I'll patch myself up in a bit.."

*itadori said as he sat behind the register to put on a extra vest they had to wear with their uniform. He sighed as he sat their till the cops arrived.*

The police asked itadori about the thief's as Megumi was told to stay quiet. Megumi didn't understand why itadori pretended to be working tonight when it's obvious that he was off today, the police asked if he was hurt as he lied again and said he was fine giving a big smile to the cops. They only shook their heads as they thanked itadori again for bringing down justice on another thug as they arrested the man and left.

The moment they left itadori's cried out in pain as he stumbled his way to the bathroom.

"Itadori!! Let me help you, why did you lie!!? You should have said you were hurt!"

*itadori calmed Megumi with a wave as he took out the first aid they had in the restroom as he began explaining to Megumi.*

"I would have been taken as a civilian who was participating in the burglary then, plus they ask to many questions.. it was better for me to say I had stopped another thief from robbing the place like always. Now please help he put this bandage on my back.."

*Megumi understood now as itadori was right about how weird the authorities worked. He also didn't think about how they would ask new questions to him, being a new employee who was the one who they tried robbing from. In some way, itadori saved a lot of pointless time for both of them and the cops.*

Megumi pulled up itadori's shirt as he saw a string of blood pulling from his wound.. he grabbed some gauze as he cleaned the area with alcohol as he began to apply first aid to his friend.

Itadori shuddered as he felt Megumi's fingers touch his back as it felt weird.. he gulped heavily as he began getting a bit hot feeling Megumi run his hand down his side of his back to stretch the big band aids and gauze.

'More.. feels good… so good..'

Itadori felt a heavy blush form on his cheeks as he envisioned Megumi's fingers running to places he couldn't imagine. His heart was racing now like if he had gone on a marathon as he finally felt Megumi finish.

"Done.. I think they didn't stab you to deep, the blood stopped bleeding as soon as I applied the alcohol and gauze."

*Megumi said as itadori pulled his blood stained shirt down and looked at Megumi.*

"BWAHAHA! You fought the thugs and talked to the cops with your face like that?!?"

*megumi bursted out laughing as itadori didn't know why he laughed.*

"My face? What about my face-?"

*itadori turned to the mirror as he gasped in shock seeing his panda-cat looking face drawn with marker*

"Oh why you!!! HOW DARE YOU DRAW ON MY FACE WHEN I WAS ASLEEP!!"

*itadori grabbed a marker from the first aid as he tried drawing on Megumi's face.*

They both fought as they gave up with their faces full of marks. They washed their faces one by one as Megumi's shift came to an end as they returned back to their apartments and each.

Itadori entered his bathroom as he decided to change his bandages for some new ones before sleeping. He stripped off the band aids to reveal smooth skin and no wound on him… there wasn't even a scar..

'Weird.. dumb Megumi, he probably tried pranking me again..'

Itadori shrugged it off as he got changed and went to bed…

….Something inside itadori now chuckled as 'it' waited patiently now for his freedom soon..
