"No, we just reach home, she must have taken them to see Mom and Pappie."

Checking the girls but they haven't seen her either.

Going to the cottage, Pappie and Grandmother haven't seen her either.

Returning home wondering, 'Where could she have gone? All the vehicles are in the garage.'

In the room checking through her draws seeing some of her things were missing, also some of the babies' things were missing. The milk, their bottles, 'Did she went to the mainland?'

Calling Alf hearing he was in the mainland. "Have you taken Courtney and the babies across?"

"No, but the fairy just arrive about half an hour."

"When will you be returning?"

"When do you want me to come, Sir?"

"Early in the morning."

Standing in the airstrip for half five, seeing Martha standing under the shed. "Martha, what are you doing here so early?"

"I was hoping the plane was going to the mainland."

"Yes, Alf will be here in a few minutes."

"Can I take a ride across, I see you are here to go across?"

"Not a problem, Martha, but didn't you tell Courtney you will go with her?"

"Yes, but I have something to take care of urgently."

"Martha, when you are ready to return, come here, and if Alf is here he will take you across."

"Thank Son, but I will be here for a few days."

Taking a taxi I went to the bank first then another to Garth Road, "I hope you are at your mother, I miss you, one night away from me, makes me feel so lost. You may not love me but I am madly in love with you."

Dropping out of the taxi I walk up the entrance, seeing the bell I press it and waited. When the door opens a middle-aged woman stand, maybe in her fifties. "Yes, can I help you?"

"Good morning Ma'am, I came to see Courtney."

"Sorry, my daughter is not at home."

"Who is it, Mom?" Tamara shouted from inside the house.

"It's someone to see your sister's child."

"Is that Tamara ma'am, please can I speak with her for a minute?" Rufus pleaded.

"Yes, Tamara the gentleman will like to speak with you."

"Yes! Seeing Rufus standing outside the gate, "What are you doing here?"

"Tamara, do you know the gentleman?" Her mom quarries.

"Yes, Mom, this is Courtney's husband."

"Sorry Son, why didn't you say, please come in, Courtney went to do some business as the babies went to sleep."

Resting his briefcase on the floor by the bed, looking at them sleep. "My Prince Ross, you left your Pa without saying a word and my little Princess Mahalee, don't you know I will miss you?"

Kissing them so their sleep won't be disturb, then slip his shoes off and lie down facing them, Rufus close his eyes and fell sleep.

"Come, Tamara, help me cook lunch, my children are home, he looks so tired, when Courtney came I thought she ran away but her husband isn't angry, and look at him, he loves his children. Your Father used to look at the two of you the same way and sleep."

"You, my child have no idea what you are saying, your father loves you and Courtney more than his life.
