Madam Wen's IQ was still quite high. If she had made such a fuss in front of Wen Dian, at least Wen Dian wouldn't think that we had reached an agreement.

The mute girl came in with food. She lowered her eyes and didn't look at me.

I sat in front of the small table and picked up my chopsticks. I said casually, "Madam Wen is quite amazing. Wen Dian actually obeyed her. I really didn't expect that."

The Mute Girl slowly knelt in front of me, her eyes brimming with tears.

I put down my chopsticks. Without waiting for her to make a gesture, I said, "Mute girl, I won't run. Don't worry. I know that if I leave, I'll implicate your family."

The Mute Girl's tears fell. She respectfully kowtowed to me.

I supported her. "Can you not kowtow and kneel so often? I've never seen this before in my entire life."

The mute girl wiped her tears and stood up by herself.

I smiled. "I promise you. I won't run. Don't worry."
