"No it can't be her!", Lingyun snapped back at his personal secretory, scaring the old man.
The poor man removed his glasses again, cleaned it with his handkerchief and wore them as if doing so would change the fact that the girl on the T.V was someone other than Xia Li Hua.
"Boss if my eye sight is alright then I can confirm that the girl is young madam Xia.", he said.
"Rubbish! You need to get your eye checked up. You must be blind as a bat. There's no way she could be Xia Lihua!" Yang Lingyun's hand clenched tightly around the whiskey glass causing the old man to worry that the glass might shatter into pieces.
As if to remove all their doubts the beautiful girl in her white dress spoke "Hello everyone, I'm Xia Lihua, my stage name is Lily. As my album is out now I hope you have heard it and enjoyed it." Then she fixed her mic and said, "So tonight the first song that I'll sing is Dawn Breaks."

Gu Sheng quickly straightened his wrinkled suit and hurried out of Lingyun's penthouse without posing any further questions. The fear of exacerbating Lingyun's already unsettled state prompted Gu Sheng to prioritize avoiding any actions that might incite further agitation.
Agitating the demon king never had good results but he really pitied that Xia girl. She had successfully debuted on National T.V and now appeared to be in danger of his boss's wrath. He thought that his boss would be a big person for once and let go of his grudge that he held on her, but he was very wrong.
