Time passed by as Kendor and I drank a whole jar of tea with two cups. Kendor asked, "Master, I kept reading the book given by Death Sovereign day and night, yet only succeeded in reading a thousand pages. We still got millions of pages to pin down!!"

I questioned, "Why are you reading every line?!"

She immediately turned the page and asked me, "Tell me what do you see on this page?!"

As my gaze fell onto that page, I blinked in utter disbelief. There was nothing written. I jolted, "What the? Why is it empty?!!"

She replied, "You might think so. But after I reached the 100th page, all the text after that vanished. Later, when I read that page, all the texts on the 101st page returned to their initial positions. And then the knowledge of the 102nd page turned visible after reading the 101st. The latter went on and on like that!!"

I asked, "Wait, I thought you were working hard all the time while reading it. But was this the reason you're trying so hard?!"
