Valente's hands fired out red explosions so he could fly to her. He rolled in the air, flying and shooting explosions to keep himself up. He knew that a tornado forms only when there is both a warm updraft and a cold downdraft. What he had to do was to disrupt one of them and catch Suni in time.
Heat manipulation was the answer. The growing tornado could be stopped if he increased the warmth.
Ian's ice magic helped as he froze everyone's feet in a safe place, by doing this, they could not move. He glanced up to see Valente pushing himself to reach her and thought if he needed help but decided against it. The red-haired alpha could do it himself, better. He was sure he had a plan so Ian helped his friends instead.
