YOU PLAN TO POISON MY PRINCESS chapter 50

"Make sure she doesn't see the end of today", she said as her maid filed her nails and the other fed her. She had had enough of the lady. That ungrateful brat, the moron that shamelessly showed herself as a whore.

When the lady Gwen had told her what she had seen in the garden. How he, the crown prince Alexandro of Xavier, her king to be and most of all , her son, fondled with a mere lady. How he had kissed her and was making move to her clothes. Until he saw the lady Gwen staring at them.

The man bowed his head low and turned to leave. "Make sure you leave no trace of you being there. You know, when you're done you leave from the back", she said and he nodded.

"This is what I do best, your highness", he said and walked away.

The queen Thalia really wanted this lady to leave. Her own son had stood up to her because of a mere lady Celine. And even threatened to kill her without thinking or a glimpse of mercy.

She really that lady Celine to die.

Lady Celine was tired of training with the soldiers so she sat down to rest her back . Today was going to be a long day especially when the crown prince Alexandro was extremely busy today. She still wondered what he had to do that could take hours to finish. It wasn't as if he was going to town to survey or something.

Just sit in a room looking at files that said something or nothing...

"My lady, you looked famished , do you want a drink?" Someone asked. It was a servant. What in Jupiter was a servant doing on training grounds?

She turned to him and he bent his head. She smiled. "Don't worry, I'm okay", she said. But she wasn't okay though,she was thirsty and tired and her throat began to itch for water, calling her an idiot for rejecting such fine request "

Okay, I'll drink just one cup.

" Wait", she said when the servant was about to go. "Just give me a cup of lemonade with ice", she said and the man servant nodded.

Why is he hiding his face?

She stood and chased after him, but, he had already gone far to the kitchen maybe.

After sometime the man servant came back and gave her the drink. His face was still bent. Celine suspected something,but, her throat was itching so much that she just took the cup from him.

She held the cup determined to see his face, but she caught a glimpse of his eyes, they were hazel. They were so deep and we'll enough rough. Then she saw his hands, they were coarse and broken.

He must have been doing too many rough things.

The man servant left and she dropped the cup. Who the hell was this man and what was a servant doing here. It was suspicious but she didn't care much.

People were strange after all.

Celine took the cup and put in her lips when Mellitus came. He wasn't smiling, he hardly smiled at her, maybe he had not yet fully built his trust.

People with bad pasts did that.

" My lady the crown prince Alexandro might be here very soon, so shouldn't we stop resting?", He asked looking at her face. She was beautiful, but, wasn't single.

He sighed, she was older than him with just a year though.

"Hmm", she said dropping the cup to think, though her throat still itched. "Maybe you should start practicing. I should drink this drink, you are all disturbing me", she said and picked up the cup.

Mellitus looked at the drink, he noticed something. Why did the drink look strange, something was not right.

He opened his eyes wide enough to fit two oceans combined.

It was poisoned!

Mellitus out of instinct and without thinking, he poured the drink on the floor.

Thank God she hadn't drank it yet .

" Now tell me what I did to you, Mel ", she said visibly and.

Is he finally out of his mind?

Mellitus looked at her and she looked away, this man was the carbon copy of handsome. " Your highness, your drink was poisoned", he finally said after a minute or two.

Poisoned!

Celine looked at him and suddenly laughed, though she was scared. " When did you become so good at telling these things, you surprise me love", she said, but his face was alarmed.

" The ice was sinking", he said and she became as alarmed as he. The ice was sinking! That was how ... He poisoned the former leader of Goldcrest.

Celine looked at the ice on the ground, sugar ants gathered it. That was why the servant was hiding his face. Her throat had suddenly stopped itching.

" Find him", she said. " He may want to escape or have escaped. Find him and bring him!" She screamed.

Mellitus announced and they started looking for the moron who wanted to kill their lady. Who would want to poison the lady who was weak and had no authority. No one really knew the reason why she was in the palace.

The crown prince Alexandro walked to the training grounds. He stopped midway when he noticed that the soldiers were searching for something or someone.

Is it a thief? What skilled thief can come and leave the palace anyhow.

He stopped a soldier and the soldier bowed. "What are you all doing? Aren't you all meant to be training?" He asked and the soldier who was easily out of breath tried to coil the words so as to speak fluently. But it wasn't working.

Lucky for the crown prince Alexandro, he saw Mellitus. He stopped him and asked, " What's happening?" He asked and Mellitus sighed.

"Someone made to poison the lady Cel...", The crown prince Alexandro didn't wait to hear the last words , he ran towards the training grounds.

Celine was walking around looking for who wanted to kill her and thinking of her haters. Her enemies.

She suddenly figured out that in this her eighteen wasted and not well spent life, she have had so many enemies.

But this was even crazier.

The crown prince Alexandro ran to her and held her hands. " Do you feel cold, is your tongue getting numb, how...?" He asked but was interrupted by Celine.

" I don't", she said and he examined her for a while before deciding she was okay.

"We'd find that bastard", he said and she smiled.

All the cooks were called out but there wasn't a single person absent. Most of them were women and the men all had brown eyes.

It couldn't be them.

After a long period, what seemed like three to five minutes, a soldier came.

He was dragging a man along with him. That soldier was the soldier who would later die during the fierce war.

" Your highness, we saw him ", the soldier said. "He was sneaking out of the garden ", he said and pushed the man.

"I'm innocent, your highness ", the man said looking very tired and worried.

"What were you doing in the palace garden ?" The crown prince Alexandro inquired because though he knew due to the situation of the current economy, many people would go rogue, but , no one would ever enter the palace except they wanted to die a mature death of one who committed treason. One who rebelled against the queen herself.

" I'm sorry, your highness, please pardon me. I sneaked into the palace at night to take some things to feed my poor family", he said crying .

"How did you know about the door in the garden?" He asked and the man started weeping again. "I worked as a slave here but later set free when my debts were being paid for", he said and they nodded.

The crown prince Alexandro looked at the man closely, he was wearing normal clothes the commoners wore. And he looked pathetic. " Please, your highness, spare me, I know I have wronged the almighty, her Majesty, the queen and you. Spare me", he cried in the most awful way.

Even if the crown prince Alexandro wanted to free him, it would never be out of pity, but that the man cried so awfully that any god would spare him, because of how awful and ugly he looked when crying.

The crown prince Alexandro wanted to let him go when she, Celine noticed something...

The man has the deepest hazel colour for eyes and his hands were so coarsed. It came as a thought, then memory before it reached the final stage...

" No, you... You are the person who tried to poison me", she said and they were all shocked for a minute that it gave him time to try to slip away.

Mellitus who was never one to be extremely surprised for too long ran and caught hold of him. The man struggled until he gave up.

Mellitus who would later be the king's favourite and the queen's pet hit him making the man to kneel.

The crown prince Alexandro looked at this man. Something was off, somebody must have sent him. He had to interrogate this man. But he ended up punching him that he broke two molars and a premolar.

"You plan to poison my princess", he said.

Celine didn't think about him calling her princess though she was surprised. She wasn't thinking about her life or the freaking enemies she had in and out of the palace. The only thing she was thinking of was...
